“Small Batch has good food, music, and service. Small Batch also has a full size bar for people that like to drink. There is also a jukebox in the restaurant so you can select your own songs! Small Batch also has seating in front of the windows at the front of the restaurant so you can look out at people and cars as you eat. I had a very nice experience at Small Batch!“

Joymongers Barrel Hall Brewery • $
480 W End Blvd, Winston-Salem

“I enjoy joymongers. They brew their own beverages with a good location and friendly staff. They don't offer growlers pours but have crowlers (can/growlers). Beer has been excellent. I enjoy the affable porter and stout while my fella enjoys the west end IPA.“

“You’ll walk through an alleyway that is decorated with a literary mural on both sides. You’ll find this little gem is snuggled into a nook with two entry ways. One door is to a coffee shop that had the tastiest coffee flight and exceptional customer service. The coffee shop is industrially furnished and decorated with beautiful pieces of art accompanied by relaxed lighting. The second door farther to the left is for the bookstore. This bookstore gives books a million vibes but someone took the time to list bookmarks for each section, explaining the types of books you’re looking at. They work with the community schools, as well. I’m not usually one for a “city” environment but this spot is a treasure!“
