“Took a trip to Popeyes today for dinner. I haven't been here in a long time, mainly because of the long lines, wait times for food, and service that hasn't always felt very welcoming. However, today was a completely different experience. The employee at the drive-thru was friendly and asked me how my day was. The food was hot and the service was very quick. It was a pleasant experience and I'll definitely consider stopping by more often.“
“I went through the drive-through at Popeyes on North Tryon this evening and I have to say, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any fast-food spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better from the start.
As for the food—outstanding! Everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked.its clear that they take pride in both their service and food quality. I left as a happy customer and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this Popeyes location!“
“Tonight I went in to get my family and I some dinner (11/24/25). The store was very busy. The staff handled the pressure well. No attitudes, great service, and apologizing for the wait. But I would like to pin out afew people. The manager was working drive thru, with great customer service and calling out what she needed before it got on the screen. The young man who was dropping chicken was keeping them stocked up as fast as the chicken was gettingg ordered. Last the younger lady at the counter, it was very overwhelming in the store but not once did it affect her customer service. I've visted alot of Popeyes restaurants and even this one numerous of times but it's been the best experience I've had at a Popeyes. I hope this review is shared with this particular team. To let them know there work doesn't go unnoticed.“
“I really love Popeye's biscuits and red beans and rice and that's why I ordered (DoorDash) them along with my chicken wings. Unfortunately I didn't get any of it. My receipt had everything right on it but I didn't get my wings or rice or coleslaw or red beans and rice or my strawberry pie. You can't blame the DoorDash person because the bag was closed with the receipt over it which means the store put it in their completely wrong with the right receipt. Check your bags people“

“Honestly things have improved so much recently. + Had a situation where Popeyes took my money on Thanksgiving but were closed.
The manager grantley and the GM replaced my order and were super helpful. Thanks guys keep up the good work“
“I like Popeyes food, but on this visit it was subpar. The fries were cold and tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed. They forgot the bacon and cheese on my bacon and cheese sandwich. The chicken tasted good though. To spend over $20 for two people to eat fast food is crazy when you're not getting quality. I can go to a full service restaurant and get better food for the same price...“
“Previous review: I would really like to give them one star... That is the review that I gave about five years ago. 2026, five stars! Talk about turning this location around 💯. The food is always hot and fresh. My order which previously was always wrong is now always correct. And oh my goodness, the customer service is almost close to that other chicken fil a place! I stopped going to the Albemarle Rd location for years. It is now the only location that I will go to.“
