I’m a little frustrated. I usually order the 8 piece nuggets and they are great. I had a group over and ordered the 36 piece nuggets. These were the worst ever. Over 1/2 of them had little to no chicken. It was just batter with a hint of chicken. Then on top of that we had some nuggets with no chicken, JUST BATTER! I paid for 36 pieces of fried batter. Only 1/3 of the nuggets were actual nuggets. I paid almost $20 for 12 nuggets.
Tonight I tried to buy a meal at Popeyes... like the 3 other times I have been there the line is half around the building and it doesn’t move. I tried to go in to make my purchase and the doors were locked... the sign said it closed at 8:00 on New Years Eve but this was 6:35pm.
There was a long line at the counter.. I sat and watched for a few minutes... I never saw anyone getting there order inside or in the drive through. I don’t know if this is a marketing technique...read full review
This is the first review I have given any Popeyes restaurant. We have gotten good quality food at this location except for at times the chicken being too salty. We have gotten takeout every time, and once the manager on duty fried chicken while I waited for some not so salty.
