“I had the hamburger at Painted Rooster, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was great, and I also really enjoyed the coleslaw. The service was good, and overall I had a very pleasant experience.

My only suggestion would be to make the hamburger a little bigger or offer a larger portion. After finishing the burger and the coleslaw, I was still a little hungry. The quality and taste are definitely there—just a little more food would make the experience even better.

“I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.“

“I attended with my 2 small children on cow appreciation day so the store was very busy, my special-needs 5 year-old was having trouble waiting in the line and the manager (named Cam) came out and gave us free brownies, saying “chocolate always helps.” I was very touched instead of looking at my screaming and crying child and feeling annoyed, he felt compassion. The chicken in them is juicy, while the breading on the outside is extra crispy, and also has a slight spicy kick to it, but not too spicy, just right. Potato wedges are some of the best around. Biscuit is always good, close slaw is delicious, and that honey mustard sauce for dipping is the best around. This location is the only one in this area. I drove from East Charlotte to get my Lee's fix, and it is always worth it.“

“I've read good things about their fried chicken and found myself nearby tonight, so decided to give them a try. I ordered the fried half-chicken dinner. The chicken was excellent: crispy and well-seasoned. I added Texas Pete when I got it home. Perfect . The fries and slaw were about what you expect at a place like this, no better, no worse.
Several reviews find fault with customer service. I emphatically did not. The young lady who took my order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.“

Hay una chica en especial que es muy amable ya sea hables por teléfono o comas en el restaurante, ella es Evelyn siempre amable, atenta y sobre todo muy educada al atender y tomar pedido muy diferente a la de un joven q es muy grosero al atenderlo a uno y por teléfono. La comida es buena a mis amigos y ami nos gusta yo de hecho voy dos veces por semana . Lo que si recomiendo al manager o dueños es que revisen las sillas unas están en muy mal estado ya una amiga estuvo a punto de caer y esa silla sigue ahí es mejor prevenir accidentes q pueden pasar por ese descuido . En general la comida es buena el lugar está limpio y la atención excelente recomiendo Pollo Royal . Nota : Olvidé las pupusas si necesitan mejorar los ingredientes sean de queso o chicharrón. 😁👌“

“Im giving 4 stars for years of really good and consistent service. Unfortunately this location seems to have gone downhill ever since it converted to all drive through. I used to never have to check my order before pulling off. It was on the money every time. Now its barely correct, ever. They’re so busy that the staff doesnt have time to tell them that something is wrong with the order. Its also passed time to take responsibility for your drive through lines pouring out into the streets on Randolph and obstructing traffic. That shouldn’t be everyone else’s problem. We accepted it until your quality and standards declined. Please take responsibility and fix this issue or we will have to get the city involved.“

“Had a great experience here! There was a small miscommunication when I ordered two Chick-fil-A Cool Wraps and I ended up getting two Deluxe Sandwiches instead. I didn’t realize the mistake until I got the food, but when I went back and explained it, Emma and her coworker Ricky were super nice and helpful! They gave me the two Cool Wraps I originally wanted and even let me keep the two Deluxe Sandwiches for free!! Really appreciated how friendly and understanding they were. “Let me tell you about Chase — the absolute legend working at Chick-fil-A. This man isn’t just an employee — he’s a customer service savant, a drive-thru diplomat, a nugget-distribution ninja.

From the moment I pulled up, I knew Chase was built different. He greeted me with a smile so sincere I nearly cried. I don’t know what kind of training program Chick-fil-A has, but I’m 97% sure Chase is running it behind the scenes while also solving world peace during his lunch break.

I stuttered through my complicated order (add cheese, no pickles, two sauces, one fry extra crispy — you know, the usual chaos), and Chase didn’t blink. He nodded with confidence, like, “I’ve trained for this moment my whole life.” And guess what? The order was perfect. Not Chick-fil-A perfect. Chase perfect. A higher standard.

Not only did he handle the order like a seasoned pro, but he also made polite, non-cringe small talk that made me feel like I’d just gained a new best friend. He said, “My pleasure” with such conviction, I almost believed I was the only customer he’d ever served. Like I was the main character in a rom-com where love is spelled C-H-I-C-K-E-N.

At pickup, he handed me the bag like it contained holy artifacts. Everything was tucked in neatly, with the sauces placed like they’d been arranged by a tiny food stylist. The fries? Hot. The nuggets? Golden. The vibe? Immaculate.

Chick-fil-A, if you’re listening: give this man a raise, a cape, a statue outside the building. I don’t know what kind of magic Chase is working, but I’m 100% here for it. If Chase ran the DMV, people would actually be happy to go. If he ran for president, I’d vote twice.
