“The location is freaking amazing!
We went through the drive threw, my daughter ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and I ordered the 6 pc bo bites meals. They asked me to pull to the side because the grilled chicken wasn't ready and told me it would be fresh. We pulled over, and we waited... and waited... my daughter was about to go inside and ask when a young lady came out and told us how sorry they were about it taking so long, she then refunded our whole order and said she'd be out as soon as possible with our food. When she came back, she not only gave us our food, which was fresh, hot, and very yummy, but she gave us extra bo tato rounds, extra bo bites, and 2 bo cookies.
I've never been so happy with a fast food restaurant visit. Nor was the food on par with a sit-down restaurant. This Bojangles is the best in the greater Charlotte area!“

“We've been to VooDoo Wings at least a dozen times in the last year and they never fail. They always get your order right (which is harder than it looks around here) and they always provide great service for both take out and dine in. All their sauces are great and very juicy. I will always be down to get VooDoo wings.
The one and only feedback/complaint is that their sidewinder fries aren't great. I'd prefer classic crinkle cut with my wings but maybe that's just a personal preference.“

“Hi to anyone who reads this! I rarely make the effort to write a review but because I am so very happy with the food I got for lunch today from Top-Taste Grill I am doing it! I ordered the Jerk Chicken with sides of yams and cabbage and it was Great! The girl at the counter, I think her name is Tenn, was very friendly with a nice smile helped me decide. Without doubt I am going back and will be telling friends! Next time I think I am going to get the smoked ribs. Maybe plan on takeout because not much space inside to sit but for me that's what I wanted anyway. It looks like they may be planning for an outside sitting area. “It's been 55 years since I was here last so time for an update.
Back in the day, I lived in the Steele Creek neighborhood near one of the Seven Sisters, the Presby churches that were established in Meck County. The Steele Creek Presby building remains off Hiway 160 but the congregation has relocated.
The CLT airport has taken over this area. They adding longer runways and expanding the airport. Steele Creek neighborhood has come under 'eminent domain'.
This place is a legacy to those bygone days. In the same building and location over 70 years.
I stopped in today to get some lunch. I probably should have called it in because when I got there at 1230p the place was packed, no seats available and everyone picking-up 'to go' orders.
They are only open during the week and shut down the kitchen at 3p.
Very popular with all the area work crews and airport area workers.
Each day of the week they have a 'special' so today I got the cheeseburger that comes with a side and a beverage for $11.00 bucks.
It was real good, not amazing but 'real good' is legit.
The fries were real good too.
Menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable for the food quality and portion size.
Fancy, no, gravel parking lot, yes, call in orders, yes, clean, yes, organized, YES! The phone didn't stop ringing when I was there.
In the parking lot was Duke Power work trucks, next to Pike work trucks and all kinds of construction work trucks.
It's a throw back place that has managed to survive in an area off I-485 that has exploded in growth over the years and next to CLT Airport that keeps on getting bigger as well as other support type business.
I'm not sure where the 'grocery' part comes in but they sell beers by the case and tall boy singles so maybe that's the grocery part.

“We usually really enjoy a quick weekday lunch at Hickory tavern, but today we had the slowest service it took us an hour and a half to get our food, they were accommodating holiday parties and did not make a good plan to take care of regular customers.“

“I haven’t been to this Zaxby’s location in a while because last time I didn’t have the best experience service wise, but I would like to say that this morning was wonderful. The cashier who took our order Sapphire M She was so patient very kind asked every question that needed to be asked for our order. We only waited 10 minutes even after she made sure we didn’t need anything else before we left. She overall made it a good experience including other staff members unlike our last encounter three months ago. I will say I will be coming back here more again.“

“My first time getting Toppers Pizza, a pizza chain out of Wisconsin. We picked up one of each crust type (hand tossed, thin and pan) to see what we liked best. The 3 topping Large for $9.99 is a pretty good deal that they have going right now.
We all agreed that the hand tossed was the best crust type. Pan was a little on the dense side, I honestly thought I was going to like that one the best.
Cheesebread was pretty good, but I like the dipping sauces from other chains better.
This location is carry out only. We did love the throne that they had outside, great picture opportunity!“

“I’m not sure who’s working in the kitchen, but I literally just ordered and you guys know you’re wrong for making me fall in love with the pasta like that! Like why would you drip the sauce at the bottom so good like that? Adding the red bell pepper in the mix sets the taste off so good! I’ll be back 😌“

“This was the best meal I have had in a while! My banh mi was absolutely delicious—it was tender, crunchy, so flavorful and the bread was the perfect chewy, crispy baguette. I ate it in the parking lot in my car—I wanted a taste before I went back to work and ended up eating the whole thing like a mannerless beast. I’m not sorry, either. I would do it again. I am currently trying to get every last boba in my milk tea. It’s that good!! Go get some…now. Really, do it now.“
