“We had an awesome experience at Chex Grill & Wings after visiting Beat The Bomb for my daughter’s birthday celebration! I had a group of five 10-year-olds (plus a few others), and the staff was incredibly patient as the kids figured out what they wanted to order. They even let us sample the chicken wings before choosing—huge win! The wings were delicious—especially the Strawberry Hot flavor, which is now officially my favorite! While we were enjoying our food, a man came in and sat down nearby—we thought he was just another customer, but it turns out he was the owner! He was so kind and invited my daughter (the birthday girl) and her friend to take on the 60-second wing challenge for a chance to win $50. My daughter won, and when the owner asked if she wanted to give her $50 to her friend, she said yes—and then he surprised her by giving her $100! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the staff sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and brought her a slice of cake. 🥹❤️ The avocado side salad was also super fresh and tasty. “Tried Chex Grill in Indian Trail today and let me just say… the food was SLAPPIN 😮‍🔥 But the real star? Rashad. Absolute top-tier human. There was a tiny “delay” with my jerk chicken sub because they were literally making the sauce fresh (which honestly just tells me everything I need to know). I wasn’t even bothered, but Rashad went out of his way to make sure I had food at the same time as my family and surprised me with a chicken, mushroom, and cheese sub (no clue the official name but BABYYYYY… it was BUSSIN). Gianna is absolutely the best! She knows the menu like the back of her hand and always has the perfect recommendations. Her fun personality and positive energy make every visit even better. If I could request her every single time, I would! She’s also the best bartender around.

Haven is the sweetest! She’s so attentive that it’s almost like she knows you need something before you even ask. She always makes us feel well taken care of.

Ivory is just as wonderful. The moment we sit down, she already knows exactly what we want and need. That level of service makes you feel like family.

Honestly, every server here goes above and beyond to make us feel special and appreciated. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it’s exactly why we keep coming back again and again.

“I came in around lunchtime with my wife and stopped to ask one of the employees, Joseph, a few questions about how the pizzas were made. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every detail. Joseph provided outstanding customer service and made us feel very welcome. “I came in for a quick lunch with my son and for him to work on some school work. He had the burger deal for Monday special which is a great deal for a lot of food. I had ordered something new which I wasn’t thrilled with but the waitress and the manager could not have been more helpful in fixing the situation and making sure I was happy with my meal. As another guest who was there that day, I feel compelled to share what I actually witnessed.

The manager I think her name was Ashley, came over herself and explained that it’s first come, first served, and that calling ahead doesn’t guarantee a table. The guest actually asked if people who were already seated could be moved, which she politely said no to.

She still tried to help though—she offered a few options, including putting the group together on the patio with TVs. She even went out of her way to clean and rearrange tables herself, but the group ended up leaving after watching her do all that.

From what I saw, the staff did everything they reasonably could to help.

“This was a food truck at a Christmas lights event this year (25’) and upon seeing the menu and being a fan of good chicken sandwiches.. I was IN.

Excellent chicken which I’d liken to Dave’s Hot Chicken but would perhaps rate slightly higher. Food out of the truck was fresh, hot, and pleasant service too from the guy working. Solid execution on a sandwich with two huge filets, pickles, grilled bun, and cheese. Also came with two sauces by default which is a huge plus. Pricing was reasonable too considering it was a food truck and the quality/portions I got.“
