About Hickory Tavern

Hickory Tavern is a welcoming restaurant with a somewhat dated atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The food is served hot and quickly, with popular items like chicken quesadillas, burgers, and BBQ chicken nachos. The bar area has multiple TVs for sports events and offers a great selection of beers. Located in a shopping center, parking is plentiful. Despite its age, the restaurant is consistently clean and provides a good experience with attentive wait staff and generous portions. Customers often praise the service, highlighting staff members like Madelyn, who is known for being super friendly, engaging with kids as real people, and providing excellent service. Hickory Tavern remains a good spot for a casual meal or weekly music bingo nights.
