The food is spot-on! I love their wing night! The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The waitstaff is top-notch. Also, Tammy, the Director of Beverage is world class! She puts on incredible events, which makes it more of a "Cheers" community feel (a club you want to be a part of)!

We had excellent service from our server Hunter at the North Myrtle Beach location. His recommendations for our appetizers and dinner selections were on point. We came in to catch a bit of a game and had a great time. Will definitely be back.

Our server Katelyn was the only outstanding part of our visit. Drinks were average at best and food was a big disappointment. Hadn’t been in for awhile and was immediately disappointed with menu changes. Eventually settled in on a few choices - wings ( which we asked for crispy - they were not and celery was well beyond fresh. $5 for all flats of an order of 6 wings is a huge gouge ), a side salad ( good taste and size, but $8 for an iceberg lettuce salad with brown lettuce was a bit high ), and then a burger ( which was spoiled meat ) a real let down. I know it happens, but it really shouldn’t. More of a let down was that once we had burger taken away there was no visit by management ( Claire was mgr as we were told by our server ). Our server did do a great job of apologizing ( not her job ) and we will be back because of her in hopes that the rest is fixed. As a former owner in this industry there is a lot of small details that could and should be fixed with some attention to detail and proper training. I am not leaving this review to be nasty but in hopes they will use this as a learning experience and get better.

My name is Velda Brown. I visited this restaurant on February 9, 2024 and again on March 4, 2024 with my friend and the hospitality and service was awesome. Our waitress both times was so nice and took good care of us. The wings and ribs was so delicious so tender and the sides was also tasty. Mr. Omar the manager introduced himself to us when he brought our food to us and he was so nice and he makes sure his customers are satisfied with their meal. I love everything about this restaurant and our visit and we will be going back there real soon.

I had lunch there with a group of ladies recently and we all enjoyed the food and service. It was a very good experience and I'll be going back again soon.

Went with a fairly large group. The service was slow and the workers kept messing up orders. The food was coming out at all different times as opposed to all at once. Hickory Tavern is a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The atmosphere is lively and the service is always friendly. My family went to visit this Hickory Tavern location last night to celebrate a 10th birthday. We were so excited only to be greatly disappointed by not only the food, but also the service. The waitress could not have cared less about us as customers and made us wait an extensive amount of time for our cold food. The restaurant was not busy by any means. When we had to return one of the sandwiches multiple times, her response was that's the way it comes. I wish I had taken pictures to show the undercooked hamburger. When I called the next day to report our experience, the manager was disinterested and brushed me off by saying she'd look into it. We will never return and I hope this saves someone else their disappointment. I'm sorry that the management couldn't have taken time to make things right.
