I first went to the original "Pile 'Em Up Bob's" when he-she, his wife were in the Thomasboro neighborhood in the late 90s with my Black friend, Cecil. I'am a "Cracker" from Myers Park, so you can see I was a little bit apprehensive about going. I ordered the fish dinner and when I opened it up, WOW !!!! ... 8 pieces of Perch, FF galore, Iced Tea, cole slaw, fork, napkin, tartar sauce, more than I could eat, $6.95. Little hole in the wall spot in Charlotte. Came for a lunch break during a job and it was very good food. Simple and good flavor. Had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Seems the sides are obviously frozen but still okay. Burger was very good. Big portion and great flavor. Just a good burger.
