“I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars. We moved from Atlanta and have been trying to find a good Chinese spot. This is it. Their food has flavor to it just like you think a Chinese spot should and the people that work there are so kind and helpful. We just made our second trip in a week. Great find for sure.“

“Im from out of town and was looking for someone good Chinese food! Saw this place so thought I’d try it! I showed up pretty close to closing and front doors were locked already. The owner/manager saw me and politely came to the door and opened it for me and ask what he could do for me. I told him my order and he graciously allowed me in and took my order! “I’ve been here twice and I can’t stop thinking how authentic the food is. I tried the Spicy Shrimp Wok and the Spicy Beef Broth and I would highly recommend them. I asked to make mine extra spicy and they didn’t disappoint. They also used Szechuan peppercorn in the broth and I loved it.“

We also love the house salad with the ginger dressing, and the Mongolian beef is a 10/10 every time. Everything is consistently great, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. “i come here or get take out weekly. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been too in charlotte. the staff is warm and welcoming. the food is easily customizable. I've not had a bad meal here. i like the garlic sauce here with any meat. their spring rolls are killer good. I'm a fan of their soups especially hot and sour. it not a huge restaurant, but they have decorated it very nice. the food is always piping hot even the togo food... I enjoy it as often as I can. you should help support this mom and pop place. its well worth it.“

“They do have a few tables for dining there but I had take out. The black pepper chicken is great! It's pretty hot with pepper and it has quite a few veggies which I like. The broccoli and garlic sauce is also great! It's a little bit hot and a little sweet and very flavorful. The fried rice with chicken didn't have the flavor I'm used to for fried rice. They usually have very fast service. I happened to catch them when they were swamped with business.“

My family ordered orange chicken, chicken with mushrooms, & sweet and sour chicken combos, all of which come with pork fried rice and egg rolls. Also ordered teriyaki chicken kabobs, plain and vegetable lo mein and egg drop soup. Everything was hot and delicious with large portions. I’m having leftovers for lunch! Price was reasonable. “This is the only place that I know of that serves pig intestines using "Pah Lo" seasoning. It is cheaper if you pay cash. I always spend about $20 when I come here. It is worth it though. It is a niche shop. I am thankful to have found it, but it isn't for everybody.“

Even the dishes I am already familiar with have been done just different enough that it's a completely different flavor, in a good way. I have turned my family and coworkers on to this hidden little gem as well. We all love it. If you like heat, anything can be made spicy. Just ask. This has become my new favorite spot. “We have eaten carry out here for years and loved it. Today we tried to dine in. They were busy and understaffed. I had to ask for our soups and salads after waiting 30 min. The soup was cold. The brought us hot ones right away. 15 more min passes and no server or food. I asked another waitress to help us. She said the food would be right out. 20 minutes after that, we had just had it with no explanation or food. We left after an hour of waiting. We took our untouched food in to go boxes bc we didn't want to sit there any longer. People were getting seated and served way after us. No compensation was offered. Very disappointing.“

“This location, from what I heard, had just a banger of a day and had run out of most things and just couldn’t keep the store open as a result. I had unknowingly slipped in before they could lock the doors to use the restroom. Upon coming out to order this magic employee woman told me the above.

She went above and beyond to fill my order with what she could, which was all still available btw, and encouraged me to come back on a better day. And I absolutely will.

The thing is, I don’t get to have Panda often and was super excited for it tonight and this magic employee woman tonight made it happen just for me when she could have easily just told me “we’re closed”. I wish I got her name. Thank you magic employee woman! See you on Friday!“

I eat here at least once a week great price too, friendly service, you will not be disappointed , 4 stars on atmosphere only because it’s small eating area and the chairs seem cheap and really not strong enough for a 6ft 2” dude that weighs close to 300 lb.“

“if you want excellent Chinese food this is the spot! The BEST Chinese I’ve had in years. Cooked to perfection, general tso chicken is always crunchy (not gummy) and the sauce is perfect. Great portions, able to share one meal between 2 adults.“

“I usually go there with my son and husband. All three of us have very different taste. this is the only restaurant we no one has to compromise. We all get exactly what we like. Our son likes Sushi, my husband likes Chinese, I like American. We try to go early because it's cheaper and we get a senior discount as well. we help ourselves to the food so there is no wait time. A refill of your drink is done very quickly. The atmosphere is also very nice. No loud music and the waiters a friendly and polite.“

“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

Very fresh! Very clean atmosphere....and the young gentleman that greets w/ a genuine smile and an air of kindness helps makes the whole take out experience quite nice.
The chicken/ brocolli and beef/ broccolli are 2 of our favorites.....but the egg rolls!!!! Spectacular!!!! Try this sweet little shoppe soon!!!!“
