“I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars. We moved from Atlanta and have been trying to find a good Chinese spot. This is it. Their food has flavor to it just like you think a Chinese spot should and the people that work there are so kind and helpful. We just made our second trip in a week. Great find for sure.“

“Im from out of town and was looking for someone good Chinese food! Saw this place so thought I’d try it! I showed up pretty close to closing and front doors were locked already. The owner/manager saw me and politely came to the door and opened it for me and ask what he could do for me. I told him my order and he graciously allowed me in and took my order! “Went for first time today and ordered shrimp fried rice. I must say it was the best shrimp fried rice I have ever eaten!!! “i come here or get take out weekly. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been too in charlotte. the staff is warm and welcoming. the food is easily customizable. I've not had a bad meal here. i like the garlic sauce here with any meat. their spring rolls are killer good. I'm a fan of their soups especially hot and sour. it not a huge restaurant, but they have decorated it very nice. the food is always piping hot even the togo food... I enjoy it as often as I can. you should help support this mom and pop place. its well worth it.“

A lot of people might order take out from here but I prefer to sit and enjoy as the food always comes out hot and delicious. I've tried a lot of different rolls but my favorite is the Super Crunchy Roll.“

“I stumbled on this restaurant and I’m so grateful that I did. It’s an intimate place and the food is DELICIOUS. I’m picky about what I eat and lately most restaurants I leave feeling disappointed.

Not here at Li’s, I ordered chicken lo mein and it was fresh & hot, my husband ordered Shrimp fried rice and it was the best he ever had. Notice he ate all the shrimp before I could snap the picture 😂

“I ordered the sesame chicken with noodles as they call it versus lo mein. I was completely shocked to see how much broccoli I had. There must have been close to 10 little pieces of broccoli with an additional 10 to 20 pieces of sesame chicken. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Even though I had to walk a half mile home, it was still piping hot. The service was phenomenal, fast, quick and very good. If you're in the Matthews area, get here between 11:00 and 2:30 Monday through Saturday and you can't go wrong for their lunch specials“

“Passed by here during work and ordered something I've never had. It was great. Now I'm attempting to try out the whole menu. So far everything is wonderful. Even the dishes I am already familiar with have been done just different enough that it's a completely different flavor, in a good way. I have turned my family and coworkers on to this hidden little gem as well. We all love it. If you like heat, anything can be made spicy. Just ask. This has become my new favorite spot. The dine in option is really small, so large groups may be a problem. The staff couldn't be more friendly. Highly recommend a visit. So far my favorite dish is the curry with green sauce. (Spicy)“

“My rating is for my food/experience in the last year. I enjoyed JinJin from 2008 when I first moved here until maybe 8-10 yrs ago. Something changed.. I'm not sure what, but all of a sudden food was consistently bad until I finally stopped going altogether... until maybe a year ago. I saw a few recent good reviews, so thought I would give it another go. I'm glad I did.. every time I go, my food is delicious. It always tastes freshly made, flavorful and hot, the portion sizes are generous. My order is always correct. I usually have the same guy ring me up when I go in to pick up order.. he is consistently efficient, courteous and always asks what condiments I would like, then is sure to include more than plenty in the bag. The atmosphere isn't great for eating in, but they no longer offer that option anyway, so it's fine for take out, imo. I never have issues with ordering over the phone, but I do recall the lady another reviewer mentioned who used to hang up a lot... and maybe still does, I just never seem to get her on the phone anymore. Anyway, I eventually started to find her hang ups amusing, and, in my case, my order was always accurate, so her hang ups never really bothered me.“

“We have eaten carry out here for years and loved it. Today we tried to dine in. They were busy and understaffed. I had to ask for our soups and salads after waiting 30 min. The soup was cold. The brought us hot ones right away. 15 more min passes and no server or food. I asked another waitress to help us. She said the food would be right out. 20 minutes after that, we had just had it with no explanation or food. We left after an hour of waiting. We took our untouched food in to go boxes bc we didn't want to sit there any longer. People were getting seated and served way after us. No compensation was offered. Very disappointing.“

..I grew up in the sardis rd area in 2000 and when we left the hospital in mattews after having my baby in 2010 my 1st meal was best wok II...... “I usually go there with my son and husband. All three of us have very different taste. this is the only restaurant we no one has to compromise. We all get exactly what we like. Our son likes Sushi, my husband likes Chinese, I like American. We try to go early because it's cheaper and we get a senior discount as well. we help ourselves to the food so there is no wait time. A refill of your drink is done very quickly. The atmosphere is also very nice. No loud music and the waiters a friendly and polite.“

“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Drunken noodles. It was a substantial portion and the noodles were perfect mix of elasticity, smoothness, chewiness. The sauce was an exquisite blend of flavors with mild spicyness. I just wish it was a bit more saucy the noodles dried out quickly. My husband ordered the kungpao chicken which was expertly prepared. The sauce was sweet, sour and spicy all the same time. I couldn't decide which new dish I enjoyed more.

The server was very patient with our indecision as we wanted to try something new and gave us suggestions. We appreciated her attentive service. There were customers at several tables and she managed to attend to us often. The restaurant was pleasing, quiet and comfortable. Definitely going back for more drunken noodles.“
