10 Best Chinese Restaurants near Monroe

“My rating is for my food/experience in the last year. I enjoyed JinJin from 2008 when I first moved here until maybe 8-10 yrs ago. Something changed.. I'm not sure what, but all of a sudden food was consistently bad until I finally stopped going altogether... until maybe a year ago. I saw a few recent good reviews, so thought I would give it another go. I'm glad I did.. every time I go, my food is delicious. It always tastes freshly made, flavorful and hot, the portion sizes are generous. My order is always correct. I usually have the same guy ring me up when I go in to pick up order.. he is consistently efficient, courteous and always asks what condiments I would like, then is sure to include more than plenty in the bag. The atmosphere isn't great for eating in, but they no longer offer that option anyway, so it's fine for take out, imo. I never have issues with ordering over the phone, but I do recall the lady another reviewer mentioned who used to hang up a lot... and maybe still does, I just never seem to get her on the phone anymore. Anyway, I eventually started to find her hang ups amusing, and, in my case, my order was always accurate, so her hang ups never really bothered me.“

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in the Monroe area. There is a Chinese restaurant in a Wingate and I drive past that one to eat here. The food is always good. The service is fast and the prices are reasonable. I have been coming over 10 years and have never been disappointed.“

“Our first time at this location. This location is located at the Monroe Mall. The restaurant looks like it could use a face lift. Our server was kind and attentive. The food was delicious and clearly fresh. Good chinese food that is above average.“

“I would like to share my experience with Jade kitchen 2 since me and my wife moved out here. It’s been very difficult to find some decent Chinese food in general being from New York and Philadelphia. It’s really hard to find Chinese food that taste like how it does up north. I will say since trying almost all of the Chinese food restaurants out here in Monroe, and the surrounding areas Jade kitchen 2 is our new go to spot. I definitely would recommend the house fried rice, chicken, wings, sesame chicken, wontons, crab rangoons, and the eggrolls. I haven’t tried any of the other menu items, but I’m glad I found this spot. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant inside is clean. Give them a try and let me know what y’all think.“

“Clean little take out spot. We dined in and the food was piping hot, freshly fried, and piled high. It’s pricey for pretty much take out food, but I was stuffed to the gills and took a whole entire order of food home. $49 for 2 people is crazy but we got 4 meals.

“Being coming here for years and the food and customer service has remained the same. Authentic Chinese food, i knew the original owners and he gave it over to his niece. She has kept all the food the same, her and husband have great customer service. I have literally tried everything on the menu and everything has been delicious.“

“Kim Martin took a picture of boneless spare ribs and thought she was screwed over because her boneless spare ribs came out looking like every boneless spare rib order that has ever been produced by strip mall, Chinese takeout joints. You get what you pay for. It gets the job done“

“Their soup has a rich, fresh-made stock with amazing depth nothing canned or powdered, just pure, comforting flavor. The chicken wings are some of the finest I’ve ever tried. Every entrée has impressed me; the Moo Goo Gai Pan is fantastic, and the Mei Fun is outstanding. Honestly, I haven’t had a single meal here that wasn’t excellent. The menu offers plenty of options, too!“

“People that give bad reviews on this place must be bougie aka snobs as can be. Food is good its not some$50 a person buffet. $12.99 a peson and people complain geeze spoiled brats. Selection is small bit fine. You cant get a china buffet anywhere else at this low price at all. Could be the haters that dont like the Christian music playing and the fact these people are good christian people that are never are rude to costomers.“
