I hadn't been to NC Tavern in several years and decided to drop in because I was in the area. My sister was visiting from out of town so we just wanted to grab a quick bite and chill. The atmosphere was super relaxed when we first arrived. No one was seated at the bar so we grabbed a chair. The bartender was attentive, personable, and knows how to make good and tasty drinks. It's a dive bar with relaxed vibes and decent late-night service. Parking was tight and limited. Main stream hip hop music on Sunday nights. The lemon pepper wings were AMAZING and the fries were okay. The menu features daily drink specials, most under $10 for cocktails and under $6 for beer.
