I usually love NC Tavern, good food, and usually good vibes but the staff can be sooo nonchalant and rude. Jas the bartender is great! but when the rude short bar-back with the natural hair threw my entire meal away, she nor the manager could give a F. Yet it was already paid for. They simply could care LESS about the customer experience. Worst night there ever!

The security at this bar beyond hood …. I don’t know if the owner is aware but they need to make changes you don’t walk up and try and fight your customers due to your on personal issues and then grab more security and try and jump a customer when you’re at work you should conduct yourself as such ….. don’t go find another bar if you value your life !!!!

Always a vibe!! The wings are good!! The jukebox is clutch. The bartenders aren't light hand with the drinks. The company is always good too. Good place for a quick bite and a chat with a new friend. Pool tables in back . Patio large with tvs and

I hadn't been to NC Tavern in several years and decided to drop in because I was in the area. My sister was visiting from out of town so we just wanted to grab a quick bite and chill. The atmosphere was super relaxed when we first arrived. No one was seated at the bar so we grabbed a chair. The bartender was attentive, personable, and knows how to make good and tasty drinks. My sister is celebrating dry January and "Q" kept the mocktails flowing for her, and the cocktails for me. I ordered a seafood boil with crab legs, shrimp, and mussels. My sister ordered calamari, and a fish basket. I found it interesting that the calamari came out with onions and peppers on it but clearly the chef knew that the peppers would bring out the flavors in the calamari. Everything was delicious. The bartender, "Q" made the experience pleasurable because she was friendly and she held the entire bar down by herself even when it became packed with Cowboy fans before the other bartenders arrived to assist her. I will be back soon because my go to is "Hef's" but the long drive isn't ideal. The environments are similar and the customer service is great.

It's a dive bar with relaxed vibes and decent late-night service. Parking was tight and limited. Main stream hip hop music on Sunday nights. The lemon pepper wings were AMAZING and the fries were okay. The menu features daily drink specials, most under $10 for cocktails and under $6 for beer.

Gave this place a chance as a spot to watch the NFL games this past weekend. The food and game watching experience was on point. Miss Q was awesome behind the bar. She could've used a little help at times in my opinion. There was a lot of work for one person. I loved that they had a special on their wings at the time, but felt they missed the mark on pricing for 12 ounce bottles of PBR. No reason at all they should be $5 in my opinion. I understand mark-up and the need to make a profit, but I can't and won't pay $5 for a PBR.
