“Our 1st visit while staying overnight at the Comfort Inn. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Our waitress Landen was great. We had the chicken and dumpling soup, and the beef and black bean soup. Plus hushpuppies. Everything was good.“

“Hoptown has the absolute BEST staff! We are always greeted with smiles & kind words. There's a huge variety of beers & some cocktails to select from. There is always something fun to do from Singo to Trivia, live bands or markets you'll never be bored. Hoptown frequently has a great food truck rotation & if the food truck isn't your cup of tea Brooklyn Boys pizza delivers. There's also a wonderful little area to celebrate events. I have personally never had a party here but I've seen some beautiful baby showers & birthdays. If you haven't tried Hoptown you're missing out!“

Our appetizer was Delicious! J had Cheesesteak sandwich and tots. And I had She Crab Soup ..yummers!!!
Our server was Jess and she was Great taking care of us! In fact, at least three employees greeted us and later thank us for stopping in. The menu offers a Hugh amount of choices. We watched soccer playoffs, HT have so many Huge Screen TVs. Really nice restaurant in Huntersville. Plenty of parking. If you are reading this please go Hickory Tavern.“
“This place is awesome! If you are looking for a relaxing place to hang out with friends, have a few drinks, and shoot some pool, this is the best place in the area. The bartender was friendly and attentive. There was plenty of room inside and outside. Driver's of all vehicle types are welcome.
Parking: There are several designated motorcycles in addition to cars.“

“Came here as a first timer. Gm Kellen and bar manager Sam were so down to earth and made the entire experience! however I then got the food, I got a burger, pretzel rods and even ordered a pizza to go. I think it’s the best burger hands down I’ve ever had, pizza was perfect size and full of flavor. Great atmosphere, and has turned my normal lunch spot on its head because they’ll see me here way more often!!“

“Love the atmosphere at Big Al’s! The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The Saturday night DJ rocks. Wish they had a live music night too. The food is decent though the change from a warm beer cheese dipping sauce to some cold, hard cheese for appetizers is a big NO.“

“This is my favorite Hickory Tavern. I've known the host, Gary for several years and he never fails to put a smile on my face with his upbeat personality. Love the bartenders and the way the entire staff works together to provide solid service even during short staff rush hours and the kitchen puts out some really nice dishes....“

“Tough one here. Overall experience and feeling when leaving was great but the way it got there wasn’t ideal. We ordered two ribeye steaks and one was grey and the other extremely undercooked. BUT the waitress had her team lead come over and he handled it better than any restaurant manager I’ve ever had to speak to. Completely apologetic and very personable and he had the chef get some new steaks and he brought them out very quickly. He stood and made sure they were cooked correctly and To our surprise he even comped the steak. Truly a professional and very good with people. We were not expecting any discount whatsoever and so that was a happy surprise that will bring us back again.“

“Wow! My hunt for the best Smash Burger in North Carolina has ended. Monday night is half price smash burgers , the freedom burger is my favorite, and they donate $1for each burger sold to the Freedom Fund which helps veterans tremendously ! This scratch kitchen sports tavern is fantastic. 48 giant televisions and a giant HD projector makes this an ideal place to watch your favorite sporting event! Especially the Super Bowl! They are giving away prizes each quarter of the game and a lucky guest will win free wings for a year, and wow the wings are phenomenal. The service is consistently excellent, and they have food and drink specials , and an excellent draft beer selection. What an amazing dining destination!

“Passing through town on a bar hop from Chicago going to Fort Lauderdale, Florida googled biker bar with good food near me going down HWY 77 and iron thunder was the first one to pop up. Pulled in there had a couple drinks &chicken Philly. This place is definitely cool. I could see it’s a happening place when they’re doing something. Bar-mid was notch. Food was delicious. Beer was cold. Everything you need . Cheers!“

“My daughter won a gift card from the Sarcoma Sucks 5K, so we stopped by the cafe before leaving town. It was the perfect day to enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio. Our food was fantastic and fresh, and the server was kind and attentive! I definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“I’ve been a regular here for a while and Danae and Sherri are the best bartenders everrrrrrr. Like they have always been great girlies who pour the best drinks and the food is always good alongside those drinks lol. I highly recommend coming here and sitting at the bar and enjoying the vibe. “Just had lunch there first thing as H2 opened. C.A. was our server and he was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed the Caprese trio and the Cuban was delicious! Hopefully, we will be back sooner rather than later!“
