“The first time I ate here was today for lunch. The food was good and the service was exceptional. Just my opinion I like salmon Pattie’s cooked with minced onion and egg and either crumbled saltine crackers or half cup cornmeal not flour. The person with me got chicken pie which was ok but dark meat was used instead of white meat and a bit dry if it didn’t have gravy on top. But I do plan to return to try other dishes.“

“Stumbled across this gas station when traveling with a loaded trailer. Found food inside and let me tell you that from appearance to service, they did not disappoint. I wish there was one in my home town. Great atmosphere, clean, modern and hosted by friendly people. Parking: Mostly paved but hard gravel where it is not paved. It's in a small town, so it's all you can ask for.

“Waitress was wonderful and efficient, BUT I had joined your wait-list online, where it was stated about 5 minute wait. I received the confirmation email quickly. My party walked in and checked in with the hostess at the door. She found my name and said yes. Time was 10:25. Others in my party noticed same quantity parties who had come in after us were being seated. I assumed they had joined online before me. However, we watched more carefully and discovered this was not the case. One in my party went to the front hostess. She told us we were next after browsing and finding my name at the very bottom of her list. We were seated at 10:50. 25 minutes versus about 5. So, either the online estimate was way off and misleading or there was an internal communication breakdown. No apologies were given.“

“I have passed here once each week since Dec. It has been my restroom stop driving from Fayetteville to work. Usually, it's to early for me to eat. No one has ever stopped me for not ordering. Staff is always beautiful and nice. Today, I ordered the daily special pork chops, turnip greens, and homemade mashed potatoes. I must say, I have slept on this restaurant. “Food is always good. Service is pretty quick, with exception of learning new register system they just put in. Staff is always friendly n will help any way possible. They even know a lot of their customers by name n talk with them like family.

Parking: Plenty of parking, except on weekends when you have a lot of boat traffic going to the lake. Usually plenty of parking, you just half to be a little more careful with boats parking in lot, n sometimes tractor trailers stopping to get food as well.“

Their Greek Salad with grilled chicken and their Chicken Caesar Salad are great. The chicken is marinated, seasoned, and grilled, making it savory and juicy.

Their traditional bone-in Buffalo Wings are excellent. The largest wings I've had so far.

Their Strombolis and Calzones are great. Stuffed with your choice of options and baked golden brown. And a large is large. I can eat two to three meals from each.

Update 23Jun2024: If I get a stromboli from here, it is usually the Steak Special Stromboli. But today, I tried the New York Stromboli with ham, pepperoni, cheese, and other stuff with oregano and other spices on the crust. I can mumble, "WOW!" and "YUM!" But I can't say anymore because my mouth is full.“

“I can't understand why Everytime I order they get confused. They have a sausage plate which has two eggs, 1 pc of sausage a side and choice of toast or biscuit. “This is one of the top restaurants in lexington and has been that way since I was young. It's one of those places you go to to get good friendly fast moving but still home grown type of service. It's in the biscuits! ♡ this restaurant is more of a home to us in davidson county.

“Breakfast and first coffee of the day here at the Casa d'Waffle in Lexington. At 7:30 on Sunday morning, it was just starting to get busy so I wasn't able to sit at a table. Counter service today.

I went with the pecan waffle and that's it. Cooked perfectly and with enough pecans in there, a little dab of maple syrup and I was good. Three cups of coffee while I enjoyed my meal and dawdled a little to watch the customers. There's always a show at the Waffle House!

Vegetarian options: Hash browns with tomatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms would work.

Dietary restrictions: Ask about allergens. They do have peanut butter and pecans here.

Parking: It is not a very large parking lot, typical for Waffle House.
