“Speedy's is the quintessential purveyor of genuine Lexington pork BBQ. In business since 1963, Speedy's serves up arguably the best BBQ you've ever had. Sides like a fabulous cole slaw, baked beans and OMG delicious hush puppies are also on the menu.
This iconic restaurant is not to be missed if your travels bring you within 100 miles of this place. Don't even think about it, just go there and experience this unique Lexington mainstay. On my list of the top ten foods of all time. Awesome vibes.“

“I remember eating here as a child in the 70's. Then traveling from Raleigh to Charlotte for work, it was always a stop. Once a colleague said as we arrived, "this place is going to be good, it has the perfect mix of BMW's and pick up trucks." This addage still holds true today. The food was amazing as always.“

“We're in town for a wedding and we looked up popular bbq places. Their business came up with great reviews so we gave them a try. It is delicious and the customer service is excellent! When I get back to Georgia I have to tell my favorite Bbq place there they have some competition in North Carolina 😋 😄♥️“

“Our family has enjoyed the Lexington style BBQ sandwiches and giant banana split sundaes for over 20yrs. Food is consistently delicious and service fast and friendly plus the happy pink pig figurines are an unexpected pleasure for young and old alike. The smaller slider sandwiches are perfect and a new favorite of my grand daughter. Prices reasonable and proportions generous, the BBQ Center is a Lexington NC staple not to be missed.“

“Just happened to drop in to Randys on a roadtrip today - what a great find. Incredibly diverse menu, and everything we had was excellent, very affordable. Teamwork-type service meant that we never had to wait for anything. Great country cooking. Going to seek this place out on future trips.“

“A small gem of a restaurant and they had Tremendous service and amazing food. Daily specials, wide selection of sides and desserts that were delicious and reasonably priced. Our party of eight tried almost everything on the menu and no one had complaints. The wait staff worked as a team with quality service as their main goal. We drove in from Nash county (2 1/2) and were extremely pleased. This will be on our monthly excursion list from now on.“
