My wife was trying to decide which white wine to order, so she asked for a tasting of two wines. The waiter brought out the tastings in Communion cups... literally. A bit below the standard of a restaurant like Milners which we have enjoyed for many years. Please upgrade the way you offer wine tastings.“

“Was going to Greensboro and when I got to Kernersville I decided to take the old way Market street. As soon I turned I saw a small building sitting in the back of the parking lot with a sign that aid Abel's Grill. Looks like my kind of place, when I walked in and saw a row of barstools athe counter I knew it was my kind of place. I got the foot long hotdog with chili and slaw and had to use around a dozen napkins to keep my beard clean. Will be back“

“I love this bowling alley, I've been in Winston-Salem for 4 years now and this was the first bowling alley I bowled in. All of the people are friendly, from the waitstaff to the front desk, the pro shop and the owner. I don't rate bowling alley food because I grew up on it and it's all the same to me, but I will say, I have no complaints. If I did have a complaint about anything, the owner, Tab, and Kaleb, even Darren was quick to rectify things. If you bowl here for any reason, just know you'll experience what a bowling alley was meant to feel like in every way.“

“The okra match sticks were just a delight to eat, what a great combination of flavors. Having grown up in the New Yrok and Maryland, I was hesitant about okra. But this was similar to eating a cloud with creative flavors. What a great appetizer!

Our main dishes, halibut for my wife - grill lamb for me - were terrific.

The blood orange sorbet was perfect for me. However my wife's 3 flavors of creme brulee were out of this world - especially the coffee flavor. Tasted almost like Hopje's candy from Holland.

“Grill Cheese sandwich- $4.50 White sandwich bag- .45 cents. Tax- .35 cents = One grill cheese sandwich to go- $5.30. Or make 10 at home for $4.50 and save the bag and tax. America is in serious trouble. Todd's s not the problem. We are for allowing this to happen. I will never allow anyone to sell me a white sandwich bag for 45 cents again. Cannot afford this place any longer. Sorry for the owners.“

“I’ve been driving past this place for a while now, and having heard some good things about it, I decided to check it out. Ashley was our waitress, and she was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. We had a basket of homemade chips as an appetizer: very generous portion and ALL chips were crispy, but not overcooked. I had the Chamwich and a side of French fries - both were perfect! The chicken breast was tender, moist and grilled to perfection; the fries were - you guessed it - CRISPY! Glad I finally tried this place and I will definitely be back.“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“
