Did several takeout orders. Never a problem. The meat loaf is like the best of cook's. All our orders and service has been first class.“

“I’ve been driving past this place for a while now, and having heard some good things about it, I decided to check it out. Ashley was our waitress, and she was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. We had a basket of homemade chips as an appetizer: very generous portion and ALL chips were crispy, but not overcooked. I had the Chamwich and a side of French fries - both were perfect! The chicken breast was tender, moist and grilled to perfection; the fries were - you guessed it - CRISPY! Glad I finally tried this place and I will definitely be back.“

“The okra match sticks were just a delight to eat, what a great combination of flavors. Having grown up in the New Yrok and Maryland, I was hesitant about okra. But this was similar to eating a cloud with creative flavors. What a great appetizer!

Our main dishes, halibut for my wife - grill lamb for me - were terrific.

The blood orange sorbet was perfect for me. However my wife's 3 flavors of creme brulee were out of this world - especially the coffee flavor. Tasted almost like Hopje's candy from Holland.

“Grill Cheese sandwich- $4.50 White sandwich bag- .45 cents. Tax- .35 cents = One grill cheese sandwich to go- $5.30. Or make 10 at home for $4.50 and save the bag and tax. America is in serious trouble. Todd's s not the problem. We are for allowing this to happen. I will never allow anyone to sell me a white sandwich bag for 45 cents again. Cannot afford this place any longer. Sorry for the owners.“

“My mother-in-law and I eat at Fitz on Main 2-3 times the three days they are open each week. We love all the food we have eaten here...from the French toast, the Shammy, and omelets to the cheeseburgers, hotdogs, crispy chicken salad and more and can't forget those amazing desserts by Danette. We love the atmosphere, even the closeness and sqeazing by the bar area to get to our table. That closeness is the same you feel from the staff, the friendly faces and regulars you see each week. “A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“

“I normally don’t write reviews. This was My Family and I first time here. It’s nothing fancy but it was nice. We had a big group (12) there was enough seating for us and our food came out fairly quick. There was an issue with our pizza being dropped (things happen) The lady at the counter was very nice and apologetic. They already had a new pizza in the oven and offered us chips or fries while we waited. Which the pizza came out in no time, she even brought it to us and apologized again and asked if we needed anything else. The young man busing tables was very friendly and helpful. I wish I would have got their names to give them kudos but they unfortunately don’t have name tags.“

“After having some difficulty with my usual bowling alley. I found myself in Winston randomly with a two hour window between obligations. I scrolled into northside lanes and met Caleb at the front desk. Who gave me one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a bowling alley. From a warm greeting to exceptional knowledge, I ended up buying a bowling ball here instead of my usual shop. 10 out of 10 recommend this bowling alley for both casual and professional play.
