“Pretty solid stuff. I ordered the sirloin and it was basically perfect. Fried green tomatoes were perfect… and I’m not even a huge fan of tomatoes in the first place. Attentive staff, great drinks, and good atmosphere.

The only reason I’m taking off one star is due to whatever happened with a couple of our dishes that had scallops in them. I’m not sure if the scallops went bad or had some sort of food-grade additive on them, but the scallops tasted like rubbing alcohol. Not an exaggeration. When we mentioned this to our server, the managers were very attentive and took a sample of both scallop dishes to test them out, and offered a replacement of either the entire dish or more shrimp to replace the scallops. Never figured out what was wrong with them in the end but the rest of the dish was just fine. I’m not saying to avoid the scallops, as it was likely just a bad batch! It was a great show of care from the restaurant and I would recommend this place regardless.“

“Wifey and I ate here on Feb 18th and what a delicious meal. Wifey had the bourbon glazed salmon over a bed of rice with honey glazed carrots and asparagus. She loved every bite. I had the 14oz ribeye cooked medium. Cooked perfectly... I had the asparagus also with a side of Brussel sprouts. Everything was good. Will be wifey and I date night spot. Just wish we had room for dessert. Maybe next time. Thank you Kurt for taking care of us. We will be back soon.“

“I tried the chicken noodle soup to go today to go with left over pizza I had at home, I had had the chicken pot pie soup several times, Its undusual and great with the pastry set on top. But the Chicken Noodle today was over the top.--Lots of Chicken and rich darker broth--not clear. great vegetables and noodles--another reason to say bye bye to Pannerra. Al this served fast and cheefully. and at reasonable priceses.“

“Yes, Chick-fil-A has changed, or shall I say their hiring process has changed. My granddaughter put in an application for a cashier's position, during an interview-for- hire event, but was told she was told " they would call her to let her know whether she had gotten the position or not." She was not one of the chosen! You may see 1 or 2 blacks working; and I have yet to see a black operator here in Winston Salem, NC. I also, submitted an application for a kitchen manager position, but received a message via Indeed, "I was not one of the chosen! I have worked for Chick-fil-A for ten years, and have an associate's degree. Where is the diversity, Chick-fil-A? I had the honor of meeting Mr. Truett Cathy before his passing, and he personally thanked each and every employee in the store for our hard work and commitment. His representation and admiration for what matters (equal employment) sticks with me to this day. Moreover, I would rather spend my money where I,we, us, can have equal employment opportunities.“

“My wife and I decided to stop in for our weekly Friday lunch date. We walked in and it was very busy! Customers wait in line to place their orders at the counter. It took just a few minutes which allowed us to look at their menu. My wife decided on the Thai Crunch salad (shredded lettuce, red cabbage, broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cranberries, pecans, crunchy chow mein noodles and grilled chicken served with oriental dressing and in a fried flour tortilla bowl. She ordered it without mandarin oranges. I chose the Cham sandwich (chicken breast deep fried, ham, provolone cheese served on a hamburger bun with lettuce, tomato and mayo. I ordered mine without the tomato and mayo with a cup of Italian vegetable soup. We then took a seat. The orders are then called by order number, ours took about 10-15 minutes. Everything looked yummy. My wife quickly decided she really liked the salad and said she would definetely order it again. I also thought the soup was yummy but felt the Cham sandwich was just okay. They also have a counter on the far end of the restaurant specifically for their homemade ice cream. We were far too full to try it but will stop in the future! Overall, this was a positive experience and we will be back!“

“Food was good - kudos for making my burger medium - most restaurants cook them past well done, so much appreciated. Gluten Free option good for my wife.

The not so good - bathroom out of order. One soda machine out of order. Customers clean their own table prior to eating - it was busy and cleanliness was clearly not the priority. Hot chips cannot be a side, have to order separate as an appetizer???? Not aware of any restaurant anywhere else that does this - scratching my head.

I think most people would be satisfied with the food/service, so would not discourage someone from eating there. It's their restaurant and it's obviously successful, they can make all the weird rules they want, just too many quirks/extras for us to make it a regular place. Again, the food is good but definitely advise avoiding busy times if you are a neat freak.“

“I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food. We will definitely be back and I would recommend everyone go try it!“

“Well I was out paying bills and I decided to stop in this establishment only for a hot coffee, i walked up to the counter and asked the female clerk i would like a senior coffee and the woman said you must order first, I said are you joking she looked and said no sir its our policy,I had money on me and I was disappointed but not shocked, so I said to the female clerk no problem I will gladly go to another restaurant to get coffee, no anger, no cursing, no name calling I just walked out, and Almighty God is my witness to this interchange with the female cashier. So I will never walk in another chick fil-A restaurant again. But I still saw how clean the facilities were, that was my very 3rd times every visiting this establishment, I will still give them a great rating simply because they are much younger cashiers and many aren't taught about old school ethics, standards, morality, even though I understand the establishment is supposed to be Christian base establishment. “I love the chick-fil-a sandwich, it's all good, and reasonably priced. I love the people that work for chick-fil-a, not sure where they find all the best people to work there, but what ever they are doing, it's working. Definitely recommend making a visit.“

“Shout out to Rebecca this morning! I had to order 2 large boxes of coffee for a school function. I called the order in to Dunkin Donuts, arrived to pick up the coffee, and they forgot to tell me that they were out of big boxes so they did not prepare my order. All they could say was, "Sorry." I rushed over to Chick-Fil-A and they went right to work on the order. She apologized about how long it would take (12 minutes) to prepare fresh, hot coffee, and said, "Your morning is going to get better starting now!" The coffee was prepared quickly- along with all the condiments bagged up and I was out the door. I was late with the coffee but the teachers seemed excited to receive it and get their day started. “I am a loyal Olive Garden customer. There’s no need to ask where I want to eat because the answer is always Olive Garden lol but I must say this last visit was by far my BEST visit. The food was amazing but the service by far stole the show. Our server Donvelle was the best server I have ever had at ANY restaurant. She was attentive and made sure every aspect of our dining experience was covered the moment we sat down to the moment we walked out. She’s AMAZING! I truly hope she plans to stay with the Olive Garden family and perhaps even has the opportunity to pursue management as she is PHENOMENAL!!“

“I didn't like the Zaxby salad that I got. The chicken eas on top with coleslaw slaw then lettuce on bottom. However, they loaded the salad with thick teriyaki sauce. It made everything talk yuck. Won't get it again.
However, my grandson got chicken wings and tenders with fries. I tasted the fries and they were really good as well as a generous amount. He said the chicken was delicious. So I will try it next time.“
