“The rotisserie chicken was moist and seasoned well with a tasty skin on it. It came with a wonderful green dipping sauce.

I was surprised at how good the vegetable sides were. They were perfectly cooked brassicas and carrots which were seasoned well with a mild teriyaki sauce.

The food was served on handy trays with built in sauce holders.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Several staff exceeded expectations and they clearly care about their customers and their food.

I hope to come back and enjoy the outdoor seating section one day.“

“I took my mother and two daughters to eat here today for dinner (04 Aug ‘25) and we had an amazing experience. The staff were so attentive towards us and were so friendly and knowledgeable on the cuisine; we had great conversation with them. I especially loved how they encouraged me to try everything and brought me what I needed to pair it all with. I can’t elaborate more on how amazing everything was, but I encourage everyone else to come in and see for yourself.“

“Sure it's in a gas station but the place is clean, the cooks are absolutely some of the kindest people I've met, the food is eye opening, and the portions... Don't get me started, they don't stop filling up your tray until it's barely closeable. For the amount you're paying, the food and portions are definitely worth, I brought 3 trays home and my family and I could barely scratch how much there was. 10/10 would come over again and again if I didn't live 25 minutes away“

“Unusual place, but the chicken is fantastic. They have chicken, chicken salad and about 5 sides. Oh and they do have one dessert. That said, don't pass this place up. Get your chicken dipped and whichever side you want. All is good to great“

“This is one of the best grocery stores in Winston-Salem. We love Jordan and everyone in the Beer Den, Vicky in the Bakery, and Chasity over the Community Table. There are so many unique things they carry that you just can't buy in any other stores.“

“Yes, Chick-fil-A has changed, or shall I say their hiring process has changed. My granddaughter put in an application for a cashier's position, during an interview-for- hire event, but was told she was told " they would call her to let her know whether she had gotten the position or not." She was not one of the chosen! You may see 1 or 2 blacks working; and I have yet to see a black operator here in Winston Salem, NC. I also, submitted an application for a kitchen manager position, but received a message via Indeed, "I was not one of the chosen! I have worked for Chick-fil-A for ten years, and have an associate's degree. Where is the diversity, Chick-fil-A? I had the honor of meeting Mr. Truett Cathy before his passing, and he personally thanked each and every employee in the store for our hard work and commitment. His representation and admiration for what matters (equal employment) sticks with me to this day. Moreover, I would rather spend my money where I,we, us, can have equal employment opportunities.“

“Well I was out paying bills and I decided to stop in this establishment only for a hot coffee, i walked up to the counter and asked the female clerk i would like a senior coffee and the woman said you must order first, I said are you joking she looked and said no sir its our policy,I had money on me and I was disappointed but not shocked, so I said to the female clerk no problem I will gladly go to another restaurant to get coffee, no anger, no cursing, no name calling I just walked out, and Almighty God is my witness to this interchange with the female cashier. So I will never walk in another chick fil-A restaurant again. But I still saw how clean the facilities were, that was my very 3rd times every visiting this establishment, I will still give them a great rating simply because they are much younger cashiers and many aren't taught about old school ethics, standards, morality, even though I understand the establishment is supposed to be Christian base establishment. So I am not angry or offended just disappointed peace and Almighty God bless you all. ❤️ human resources classes might be a good thing to offer employees. And I was expecting to pay for my coffee gladly, a Vietnam vet who defended this country and this is the truth.“

“I gotta give a shout-out to the crew this morning. It's 3/25/26 at 10:20am and the place is packed with people. You can tell that they're short staffed, but they're doing the best they can and crushing it. I appreciate their hard work and patience while dealing with the crowds and being short staffed. Everyone in the building is crushing it, and I give big props to them. They whole team deserves some love. Diamond is managing currently and I wanna give her a big shout-out and a ✋ big high five!!! “Shout out to Rebecca this morning! I had to order 2 large boxes of coffee for a school function. I called the order in to Dunkin Donuts, arrived to pick up the coffee, and they forgot to tell me that they were out of big boxes so they did not prepare my order. All they could say was, "Sorry." I rushed over to Chick-Fil-A and they went right to work on the order. She apologized about how long it would take (12 minutes) to prepare fresh, hot coffee, and said, "Your morning is going to get better starting now!" The coffee was prepared quickly- along with all the condiments bagged up and I was out the door. I was late with the coffee but the teachers seemed excited to receive it and get their day started. Thanks, CFA, for saving the day!“

“Just wanted to compliment the management of the Hanes Mall Chick fil A. We didn't feel like our food was up to their usual standards; kind of had a funky taste. We told them about our concerns and they listened! They replaced our sandwich and confirmed that yes, the oil was scheduled to be changed. Thanks Chik Fil A!“

“I love the chick-fil-a sandwich, it's all good, and reasonably priced. I love the people that work for chick-fil-a, not sure where they find all the best people to work there, but what ever they are doing, it's working. Definitely recommend making a visit.“

“I love how friendly the staff are at all Chick -fil-A restaurants I have visited and they don't mind giving extra condiments for any of there meals. I was surprised when I didn't have to pay extra for my extra condiments I ordered. Thank you for including God in your atmosphere.“

“Food was good as always, but if you order using the app, you might want to wait a while before doing so again depending on what you typically order. If you order a sandwich meal on the app, it will list two different buns for your sandwich. You can unselect one, but it won't let you select the other one. So, when your order arrives at the restaurant, it looks like that you want your sandwich with NO BUN. The Thru-Way location has submitted a ticket to Chick-fil-A's IT Department, so hopefully this bug will be fixed soon. I do however appreciate the Thru-Way management team for acknowledging and taking action on this as quickly as they did.“
