We really enjoy Mizu sushi! The sushi has some great flavors and is always fresh. Sometimes, they aren't rolled as tightly, buy we still enjoy it.I took away one star for two reasons...First, they are a little pricey over all and can sometimes nickle and dime for sauces. Second, we ordered hibachi to-go one night and it was bland and very basic.So, no more hibachi orders, but they are still our sushi favorite!
Mizu is hands down the best sushi place in Winston Salem. Their soups are excellent- miso, clear onion or seafood soup. The appetizers are delicious. Kani Salad is the best version I’ve ever had. Calamari is also a good choice. The hibachi dishes are great. Much higher quality than the other Japanese restaurants in town. The best choices on the menu is by far the sushi. This is definitely the best sushi that we've found in Winston Salem. The food and service are impeccable, my only wish would be to change up the seating on the right side of the restaurant. My family was seated next to a group of young adults who (2 feet from my children) began describing in some detail, sexual acts and elicit drug use.
