Consistently happy with service, portion size, nicely seasoned best prices in town this is my go to Japanese spot in Winston now for the quality and quantity of the food . What I get here for $12 it would cost $17 somewhere else with smaller portions and less tasty food can’t beat it.“

“Wanted a Japanese hibachi dinner for my birthday today so we stopped here. Got in early at a good time cuz at 5 when they opened, the place got immediately packed. It was super super busy but I saw that as a good thing because the food, service and atmosphere was FANTASTIC! The Hibachi chicken was what I had it was delicious and had a lot of flavor and was cooked fresh. The show the chef put on was entertaining as well and the service was fast constantly asked if I needed refills on drinks and sauces. Great atmosphere, nice waterfalls and ponds with fish and bridge and decor inside. Definitely an awesome experience we had I recommend it!“
“We were passing through on our way home and were craving sushi. This was highly rated, so we stopped for lunch. I'm glad we did! Service was impeccable. Probably the best service we've had in a long time.Sushi was made fresh and there was a great variety of rolls to choose from. Black Dragon was delicious if you like eel.Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars, my husband's chicken was really dry and he didn't eat much of it. “The best Thai food I've had in any city. I usually eat the curry, but sometimes the drunken noodles. Both of these dishes here are better than at the other options. Also, Earn is one of the best servers. And her sister is very nice too.“
“This is definitely the best sushi that we've found in Winston Salem. The food and service are impeccable, my only wish would be to change up the seating on the right side of the restaurant. My family was seated next to a group of young adults who (2 feet from my children) began describing in some detail, sexual acts and elicit drug use. We asked to be moved and the restaurant was very accommodating but I feel that if those tables were spaced apart more that we wouldn't be subjected to their inappropriate discussion. In the future we'll ask to be seated near other families and away from college students.“
“I'm not a fan of not updating your restaurant when it is time. It's way past time. Very busy and hard to get into. Staff is generally accommodating. Chefs are way way over their jobs which is ok. Have you met the public?? Food is consistent and the staff is good at refills etc. Even if you have reservations you will wait. No egg yolk sauce which to me makes it worth going and forced eating with strangers.Parking: Parking is narrow with some street and office building parking ?️ please be wise. Not the best area in Winston.“

“We celebrated a family birthday and had such a good time! We sat at a hibachi table. Our server was sweet, and our chef was fun to watch. Hibachi steak, chicken and salmon cooked right at our table. Portions are very big and everything was fresh and tasty!“

“Definitely lived up to my expectations on a good Hibachi meal. I had the steak and shrimp Hibachi plate. I received a sizable portion of both the steak and shrimp along with a generous serving of white rice. I do believe you can opt for fried rice if you so choose to do so. I ordered this near closing via DoorDash and they quickly accepted my order. My meal came promptly. The food was the right temperature and all neatly packed in the takeout bag. Will definitely be coming back for more!“
“Had a late lunch here a few weeks ago. Went in thinking of try the ramen but after going over the menu I decided for a Bahn Mi, I got the pork. Wow what a great choice. That was truly a great sandwich. The service was quick and staff was so nice. Thanks for a great dining experience.“

“I came here for the first time this past weekend. Since coming to town 8 years ago, I've been looking for a good, quick, Japanese place and might have found it here. Kotta is nothing fancy, but the food was quick and good. I ordered the hibachi steak. It was cooked perfect. I had a large amount of rice and broccoli and the shrimp sauce was very good. I downgraded a bit because I didn't have much steak in my order (I'd guess < 3oz). But I'm willing to come back and try again sometime soon.“
