“I was unable to get photos my son tampered with the lo mein by adding extra vegetables and scallions. We were asked if we wanted vegetables and they're literally was only cooked onions and the noodles were overcooked. I ordered wonton soup and it was delicious. I will give them another shot I just will not order the lo mein. It's a typical to go Chinese restaurant so the atmosphere is low key. The surface was quick and she was very pleasant.“

“Wanted to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Ordered bean curd with vegetables, Crab Rangoon, chicken wings, and a large shrimp fried rice.
The bean curd with vegetables was delicious and the portion was huge! The sauce was great and not overly done. The Crab Rangoon were crispy and full of flavor, the sack was full of them! The shrimp fried rice was absolutely delicious. The large shrimp were perfectly tender and there were more shrimp than any restaurant we have been to. I did ask for them not to add peas and carrots to the fried rice. The rice was full of flavor and the wings crispy. They were friendly and this will be a favorite restaurant. Thank you so much!
Update! Had the pepper steak and it was absolutely delicious! Seasoned just right and the sauce..... perfect! Had a side of the crispy chicken wings, and crab Rangoon. They do it right, every time!“

“Mr. Lu’s is a Winston staple for tasty Americanized Chinese food like General Tso’s chicken and Mongolian beef. The fried rice was a little bland but the chicken was good and a large portion.
I also give them bonus stars for being open late when a lot of other restaurants close.“

“Babayyy. ?Let me tell you. The food here is spectacular. I go nowhere else but here. The service could be a tad bit nicer. However, overall they have nice portions and it’s fresh every time I receive my order. I hope it stays that way because I’ll be a repeat “

“10 out of 10 - fresh and delicious, huge portions (forgot to take pictures), great prices, friendly staff. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and amazing. General Tso, orange chicken, spicy chicken, lo mein, Philly egg rolls (please keep these on the menu forever), fried rice with added shrimp. I highly recommend and will be back ASAP.“

“Ordered General Tao’s chicken. Portion size amazing. Tastes great but my only negative is I asked for extra extra spicy and I would say it’s barely spicy. But I would order from here again and just make sure they add the spice level I love“

“It has been a while since I've been here. I decided to stop by one evening. The gentlemen behind the counter was a bit short with me as I placed my order but whatever. What I received (Black pepper chicken combo) was very good. The eggrolll seemed larger that some I'd get some other near-by establishments which was nice. The fried rice was a bit plain but still good. All in all, I would go back.“

“This is hands down the best sit down Chinese restaurant in Forsyth County. Family owned for over 30 years. Joyce is the sweetest waitress that makes you feel like family.“

“Not what I expected but the food wasn’t very good. If you dine inside, you’ll be eating in a carry out container and plastic fork. That’s what was unexpected. But the food wasn’t very flavorful really good! You go to the counter and order. Water is bottled only and you get that yourself too. Now that I know what to expect, I would just take it home next time.“

“First time going and played it safe and got sesame chicken combo with fried rice and egg roll. Food was cooked perfectly and egg roll was crisp. The man behind the counter was friendly and helpful on what he recommends. Definitely will be back to try other dishes. Prices are reasonable as well for the amount of food you get.“

“I love this place. I was eating here 3 days a week for lunch before i moved close enough to work to go home to eat, but i still want to eat here more so now im about 1-2 times per week. Ive never had a bad dish or weird parts of meat in my food. Its always been super fresh. The lady the runs the place is funny and kind. People who call her rude just dont understand other heritage well.“

“This is a typical no-frills hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant that caters mainly for takeaway but provides tables and chairs for self-service dine-in. It appears to be run by an Asian couple, with the man sweating over the wok and the woman multi-tasking behind the counter. Having been familiarized with Asian food culture through living and traveling in that part of the world for decades, it inspired confidence to learn that the woman was Thai, a people who take cooking seriously and with pride. I ordered the Singapore Mein Fun (Singaporean-style stir-fried rice-vermicelli) and ate on the premises. This noodle dish didn't disappoint - it was every bit as good as those served in Hong Kong (weirdly enough, Singapore Mein Fun is not a Singaporean dish but a Hong Kong invention). You can usually gauge a Chinese restaurant by its fried rice and noodles, and based on this, I'm pretty sure other dishes on the menu are just as yummy. I'll say this restaurant deserves a higher grade than its current 3-star rating, especially when it comes to food quality.“

“We use to live in NC and would come here once a week. Their rice noodles are great! Honestly, if they had a fancy looking brick and mortar they could charge 3 times the price because all of their food is so good. I am a very picky Chinese food person. We now live in SC and every time we visit NC we make sure to go here. The comments about tasteless or bad food could not be further from the truth. Their food is always high quality, I have never purchased something from this location that wasn’t amazing!“

“Tasty Chinese restaurant with great variety of dishes to choose from. They have huge portions ideal for 2-3 persons per order. It's best for takeaway because the restaurant is quite small for sitting especially if you have a large group. Highly recommend to try.“

“I don't care much for Chinese food but my Mom loves it, so we ordered in one wknd and I got two egg rolls which I do eat bcuz I love cabbage 😂. These were the best egg rolls I had tasted. They were light and crispy w/o being greasy. And very moist and flavorful inside. I thoroughly njoyed em!!“

“I enjoy getting dumplings at May Way after a walk around Reynolda gardens. You will find it among the storefronts of historic Reynolda Village. Seating is limited so you will want to eat at one of the many picnic tables under the old oaks in the village. The menu is small but everything is cooked to order and you will not be disappointed.“

“I have now eaten at New Sichuan three times. My opinion is that New Sichuan is the best authentic and Americanized Chinese food in Winston-Salem and I have tried lots. The place is spotless with a near perfect sanitation record. The service is quick and friendly. The food is served quickly. On our most recent visit my son had Beef with Diced Hot pepper which he judged to be very good. If you like Americanized Chinese food I can highly recommend their General Tso's Chicken. It is a huge portion and it is likely the best that I have ever eaten. The egg rolls are served piping hot. General's Chicken, an egg roll, water and tip comes to just over $20.00. I highly recommend New Sichuan. The rice even sticks together so you can eat it with a chopstick.“
