“Had my parents with me and they love fried flounder so I googled fried flounder near me and this place came up. Never been there. Really glad I took a chance and went! It's in a strip mall and kind of flies under the radar and I think the other half of the building is a pizza place. But I'm going to tell you what the fried seafood was. Excellent. We had fried flounder, fried whiting and fried popcorn shrimp. Excellent french fries coleslaw hush puppies. Just exactly what you would think and reasonable prices too. It took a little bit to get the food which I am totally fine with. Due to the fact the reason for my weight was it was being freshly cooked to order and hadn't been sitting under some heat lamp. Our all four of our orders came out so hot. We could hardly eat it. We had to leave it the box open for a minute to cool off. Come try this place!“

“Not many places that I give a full 5 star rating but this restaurant fully deserves it. The atmosphere was great. Food was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful. The waitress went far and beyond and was super friendly and a joy to speak to. We took my dad for his birthday and she even played some birthday music on the big screen just for him without us even asking. The food was by far some of the best, if not the best, Dominican food I've ever tried. Everything was so flavorful and seasoned to perfection. I will definitely be returning in the future.“

“My friend and I decided on several small plates and split a wedge salad. Food was wonderful and included the duck, Mac and cheese and octopus. Wine selection has changed quite a bit from my previous visits there and was a bit disappointed in the selection. Overall experience was very good and definitely will consider again“

“The food & hospitality is beyond so I took a pic of my food so you could see it for yourself. My husband & I arrived 10 minutes before closing, but the waitress was so nice to actually let us stay to eat. My husband has been ordering this awesome Grouper from here. I had to just see the place for myself. Large building for parties. Carpeted. Large screen TV that was on my favorite, Wheel of Fortune. The Hostess came out with just right sweet tea while we waited. I'm going to come again to dine-in. I give them 10 out of 10!“

“We ordered take out and of course it was wrong. We returned our wrong order and these workings kids were playing 'patty-cake" while we watched them and waited for our order the 2nd time. After returning home and eating our order, I then came down with food poisoning. I have dogs that can followed directions better than anyone working in this place.“

“Rachel and I ate at MJ's Saturday night and it was one of the Best meals that I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Michael Angelo is alive and well and working as a chef at MJ's. “The last two times I went, it was Mother's Day and Father's Day, so unsurprisingly we had to wait for an hour or so. This red lobster isn't as crowded as it used to be, but if it's a holiday, expect to wait for a while if you don't have a reservation. That being said, both times we had a waiter named Richard and he's definitely one of the best waiters here. He's very attentive, fast, and has a good attitude. Try to get him if you can!“

Shoot pool while you enjoy some delicious mixed drinks or an ice cold beer. The owner was amazing and so very friendly. I would definitely recommend 100 times over!“

“Our waiter was rubbing some girls' hair and scalp for 3-4 minutes before coming to serve us. two of our party of 5 were there for lunch. the waiter did not wash his hands and we were disgusted. we did not say anything as I decided to make a written comment at home. He also did not write down our orders saying he had been doing this a long time and didn't need to write down the orders. My friend and I were not happy about him rubbing the friend's hair and scalp in front of customers. thank you“

“I ordered the beef lo mein, and as the store name implies, it "taste good".
I called in my order and arrived about 10 mins after, I was quoted an oddly specific time of 7 mins. However, when I arrived I waited about 10 more mins for the food. That being said, it was fresh so I'm not complaining.
The lobby isn't what you would call inviting or necessarily clean. The menu is old printed paper with typos but they also have the classic menu at the counter. See attached pics.
They do try to distract you from the 90 health rating with a decoration hanging in front of it.“

“I ordered the spring rolls and the steak with shrimp hibachi. It was all delicious! The spring rolls were crispy and had great flavor. The serving was large and prices were very reasonable. I didn’t need to add anything to the hibachi, it was seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend.

Review #2. I tried to add another review because I ordered from here again but it won’t let me! So figured I’d just add to my first review. I got the same order as yesterday plus an egg roll. I’m on vacation and their food is so good that I didn’t want to try any other place around here! I needed another one of their delicious meals before heading back home tomorrow. Spring rolls and egg roll were crispy and delicious! Just like yesterday’s meal, the hibachi was perfect! I didn’t need to add any sauce, unlike other hibachi restaurants I’ve tried, where the sauce was the thing that made the meal great. No sauce needed here! Excellent customer service. Food is fresh and hot! Highly recommend… again.“
