“Love the way the store is set up! Very kind and patient staff. There was a language barrier but the two women were so kind, helpful & patient to ensure that my order was correct. “The food was very good. Truly excellent Birria tacos and they even had Birria ramen! Elote was actually made properly with plenty of cotija cheese. The el pastor meat was delicious, the beef ribs were so tender and flavorful, the fried fish (mojarra) was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced and the homemade hot sauces were quite delicious. Very friendly service and we got free desserts for the table! Highly recommended this place for those that really enjoy authentic Mexican.“

However; I was not pleased with the salad. big chunks of lettuce no tomato or cucumber in it tiny skinny sliced onions and carrots hiding under chunks of lettuce. in the future put tomatoes and cucumbers in salad and slice up the lettuce..... In addition; I would have preferred my fried rice inside with hibachi veggie/chicken.“
“Went here for our usual Friday Family Day. Everything was excellent! The fried oysters were succulent, the crab dip was a little too strong but still good. I had their special for that day which was the Mediterranean Sea Bass and it was tasty. The ribeye with pimento was also good, but what surprised me was their chicken tenders that we ordered for my kiddo, those were the best tenders I’ve tasted (had to steal some for mommy tax). Will be back here again!“
“I was visiting my friend in Burlington and my mom asked me to stop at Mayflower on my way home. I know their seafood is not good, so I asked my friend about this place. She stated it's good, so I pivoted and got seafood from here. My mom loved it!even after she had to heat it back up. Since we are an hour away. She stated she doesn't normally like restaurants coleslaw slaw but she enjoyed theirs. She also stated the fish was fried perfectly and the oysters were great. I knew it was good when she mentioned she would drive to Burlington to get some seafood (she doesn't like to drive) so it sounds like we will be back!“
“I decided 5 stars was appropriate because everything about my experience was positive, especially the food, which really is most important to me. Very hospitable service with my take out order, consisting of the sirloin with crispy onion rings, cooked to perfection, and as ordered, and a very substantial garden salad. “I come here at least 4-5 times a month to where if I call, they know it’s me lol. But today I had a sort of a different experience. My waitress goes by the name Damirus (hopefully I spelled it right?) and I can honestly say she’s the most polite employee I’ve encountered here. She smiled each time she checked on me and neighboring customers and just gave off such a pleasant vibe.
