Not sure what's going on with Mayflower, but I didn't enjoy my meal this time. My waitress was friendly and attentive, she didn't charge me for my meal...maybe I'll try again.
Mayflower is a Burlington staple for seafood. Great staff, generous portions family atmosphere. But I was disappointed on my last visit. Don't order fries. They tasted like the oil was old and had been used to fry fish. The fish was without any flavor; fried beautifully but mushy inside. Maybe it was an off-day. I'll give them another try as Mayflower is one of very few fish restaurants in the area.

The flounder and the catfish were good. My wife's Burger was burnt her baked potato was cold in the center my son's grilled cheese barely had any cheese on it and it was hard as a rock. The fries were undercooked and cold. And the lady at the front put us in a booth in the corner and we're all a bit of chunky people. I don't get why you would put us there. After I said something they did move us to a regular table.
