“Some friends and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Captain John’s Dockside last night! My broiled scallops were perfectly done, and everyone in our group loved their dinners too (fried jumbo shrimp, catfish, broiled jumbo shrimp). Even the salad was commendable - fresh and crisp. We dove into the complimentary hush puppies that were brought to us as we viewed the menus, then snacked on the crisp and tasty clam strips. The place was shiny-clean, and the service was delightful. We’re looking forward to going back soon with more of our friends!“

“This is my go to restaurant when looking for a nice place to take guests or to celebrate a birthday. Very good food; Since it’s a steak and chop house I order a steak rather in house ground sirloin burger. I’m not thrilled with their mixed drinks because I don’t think they make their own sour mix but the wine and beer selection is good. I usually make reservations before hand as it can be busy on the weekends.“

“Overall a good experience and recommend with some caveats. The short ribs were superb (though a bit salty). The salad was also very good. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely fantastic -- perhaps the best I have had. Our server was very kind and professional (though a different server came out first and mistakenly said "congratulations on your anniversary" -- she mixed up the tables).

- the room has a very strong firewood smoke smell, which is unpleasant (and not good for your health)
- the overall wait time for food was long
- at prime hour, parking can be a bit difficult to get right outside

I’m not in Chapel Hill often, but when I am, I’ll definitely dine at 411 West again.“

“Mayflower on 15-501 in Durham is a great place to get all the different varieties of fish seafood shellfish & the hush puppies are incredible they literally melt in your mouth when they are fresh out as they always are .

“It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in every way, but Parizade truly hit it out of the park! From the warm welcome by my server, Raymond, the exceptional manager, Zhait Ponce and the entire waitstaff, made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. The salmon, potatoes, and unique drink Zhait made me were unforgettable. And the chocolate cake?! To die for! “I have ordered several custom cakes for special occasions and they have all been delicious! I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they do an amazing job accommodating both and taking the time to discuss with me my options for cake, frosting and filling flavors. The rest of my family (who can eat gluten and dairy) even LOVE these cakes. They say that they can't tell the difference! The chocolate cake is our favorite.“

Stopped in for the first time at Mr. Don’s Famous Chicken & Ribs and enjoyed the 1/2 chicken with Mac n cheese and collard greens and EVERYTHING was so flavorful!
