“This place is definitely an authentic Sichuan restaurant. Some of the appetizers were so spicy that we had to eat lots of rice. With the peppercorns, I was still feeling the numbing effects after the meal. The waitress who served us was awesome and accommodating. She even offered to remake one of the dishes to be less spicy for us! I would be wary of the spice levels, and ask them to reduce spice if you can't handle too much spice, but there was something exciting about trying the dishes as the chef had intended as well!“
“You'd appreciate it more if you have a decent idea about Malaysia and the food there...a lot of south east Asian influences including India and Srilanka and that makes the food a dance festival for your taste buds.A cozy small business that values love and joy and it is reflected in their food, decor and service....“
“I enjoyed eating here. The food came quickly and was all delicious, no misses.I ordered cucumber salad (fresh and tasty), scallion pancakes (normal, good), noodles with szechuan sauce (really yummy), and general tso's chicken (not my choice, but friend enjoyed). Portion was good, we left with enough leftovers for a solid lunch the next day.Price was really fair for all this food. I would come again and maybe try the desserts next time.“
“This is the best sushi spot. Hero is very kind, staff are attentive. You have to be smart about when you come in to get the best service; it will always be slower when it’s busy anywhere you go. The atmosphere is great - it feels very homey and warm. And the tuna melts in your mouth. I go whenever I can, and you should too.Vegetarian options: I bring my vegetarian friend here and he’s pleased with how the menu is clearly labeled, and has multiple options.“
“I had ordered their fried tofu starter, a medium massaman curry with tofu and their Thai Tea. I liked their tea as it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and it had a nice flavor to it. Their massaman curry was very good and everything in it was well cooked. The service was a little slower as it took 15-20 min to get our check and the restaurant did not seem crowded. Our waitress was very friendly. I would come back again.Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options on all spots on the menu, and you could add veggies or tofu without an additional charge for most items. The food was good and I would recommend to vegetarians.“
“I looooove Wheat!!! This is my favorite spot on 9th St, and I’ve been to all the restaurants. They have great spicy options here — I recommend Crispy Beef with Chilis Noodle (鲜椒牛肉拌面) and Boiled Beef in Hot Chili Oil (水煮牛肉) Also Mango Pomelo Sago drink and Pumpkin Cake!! The fried rice is good too, not too salty. The portions here are HUGE (enough even for my boyfriend who can eat enough for 2-3 people lol). Environment is very clean and relaxing and the service is really good, the people who work here are so nice, friendly, and respectful. The menu often has new items to try and I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve had. Oh, and if you get a drink to go, ask if they have the cute little clear to-go cans! :) Even my Hong Kong heritage boyfriend likes it here and he’s very picky. Highly recommend here!! ❤️“
“This is my favorite place for ramen. I've had several ramen dishes with all being very good; never disappointed. Their shrimp bao buns are also great. Customer service is awesome always a pleasant atmosphere. This is a must go to, you won't be disappointed.“
“This restaurant is soo delicious! I love their Thai fried rice with tofu and all of their soups are just lovely. I really enjoyed the flavor and portion size of the meal that I got for takeout for dinner. It was filling and flavorful without being too heavy on the stomach. The service is excellent also, all of the staff are so friendly. I loved it here!“
“A family dinner for 3 of us and we really enjoyed the experience. Ambiance is nice, calm and easy to converse. The service was very attentive but not fussy. We shared all our dishes and found the food delicious. Particularly enjoyed the crispy chicken and the "bolognese".“
