We’ve tried most of the dishes on the menu and I have never been disappointed. Favorite so far is the Korean Army stew with spam… so “

“Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local Korean barbecue restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! From the warm ambiance to the exceptional service and mouthwatering dishes, this place truly exceeded my expectations. Let's talk about the star of the show: the food. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the enticing aroma of sizzling meats on the grill. The extensive menu offered a delightful array of traditional Korean dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors that transported my taste buds straight to Korea. The attentive staff explained each dish with great detail, ensuring that we made the most of our dining experience. Now, let me introduce you to the highlights of the meal. The kimchi bulgogi, a classic Korean barbecue staple, was an absolute delight. The tender, marinated beef cooked to perfection, combined with the spicy tanginess of the kimchi, created a harmonious explosion of flavors in my mouth. It was a true masterpiece that left me craving more with each bite. But the deliciousness didn't stop there. The galbi, thinly sliced beef short ribs, were unbelievably tender and succulent. Grilling them to perfection on the tableside grill was an interactive experience that added to the overall enjoyment. The bulgogi, thinly sliced marinated beef, was another standout dish. The balance of sweet and savory flavors was impeccable, making it a true crowd-pleaser. One cannot talk about a Korean barbecue experience without mentioning the banchan. The restaurant's assortment of traditional side dishes was beyond impressive. From the pungent kimchi to the delicate pickled vegetables and the addictive crispy pancakes, each banchan added a new layer of taste and texture to the meal. It was a feast for the senses, and I appreciated the variety and quality of these accompaniments. Now, onto the service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our entire meal. They expertly guided us through the menu, ensuring that we made informed decisions. They were quick to refill our banchan and check on the grill, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our overall enjoyment of the evening. The quality of the food was outstanding. Every ingredient used was fresh and of the highest quality. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their craft, as each dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented. The attention to detail in the flavors and presentation was commendable and made every bite an absolute pleasure. In conclusion, my visit to this local Korean barbecue restaurant was an absolute triumph. The delicious and authentic flavors, combined with the exceptional service, created an unforgettable dining experience. If you're seeking a true taste of Korea and a dining adventure that will leave you yearning for more, look no further. This place is a gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in search of the best Korean barbecue in town.“

“First time we have visited this restaurant, but not the first time tasting their food. So, here goes. Quaint. Tidy, and tucked away in a college neighborhood. All great things. Was there a wait to be seated? There was not - but, that didn't mean this wasn't a great spot for dinner. Our first course was (of course) their hot soups. I had Wonton and my husband had David's Hot & Sour. So good. We ordered Jasmine tea - took awhile to steep, but isn't that always the way with tea? After soup, we had Fried Vietnamese Vegetable Spring Rolls. These were good, and we also had David's Original Half-Fried Dumplings. You get five of these big guys. We split the Sesame Chicken and Beef Lo Mein Egg Noodles. Even the steamed rice was delicious. Tender chunks of chicken in a sweet sauce with small stalks of broccoli, and the beef was tender and easy to chew. I would have to say that their portions were small. We did not take anything home with us (at other Asian places, and for the amount of money we spent, we would get a second at-home meal). Not the case here. You get fresh, hot food or average portion size, and you leave what's left (empty plates). Staff were accommodating. We were told at the time that their systems were acting slowly, so in order to process our order, everything had to be entered all at once. My husband and I are never rushed, and we don't enjoy everything coming out of the kitchen at once. However, we were informed of what they were doing to get hot food out to us. We appreciated this information. I would say, "go here and try it!" The "industrial" decor is fitting for its location. Everything is casual - even the person seating us wore jeans and sneakers. We will go back, and bring others with us.“

“We did take out here, with a bunch of veggie dishes. Best vegetarian pho I’ve had in a very long time - broth felt spot on, well flavored, complex, rich, but not overly sweet. Wife had the spicy version, which definitely had legit heat. Tofu had a nice smokey flavor as well.I kept reading complaints about the hostess. Not sure if it’s a different person, but the person that helped me was great! Very smiley, joking, and helpful. Can’t wait to try the tofu bahn mi next!“
