“I tried the Tonkotsu ramen and it was one of the best I had in authenticity in the Triangle. The subtle umami of the broth definitely was not using MSG, but only could be made by a traditional 14 hour plus cook to create it.. for me this was a very authentic traditional broth that has a very balanced delicious flavor profile. If you don’t like that MSG after taste this small ramen shop is a gem of a place. I highly recommend this place, the noodles were springy and I definitely drank all the broth. I also got a free Mohito for lunch that was refreshing and the price and portion was perfectly sized for my Monday lunch. The Chasu was standard, but everything was very balanced. Will definitely go back to try the other ramens“

“Every time I come to RTP, I like to get a dragon and phoenix from this place. It's always delicious. I even got it two days in a row this week. Yum!

6 years later, I made it a point to revist this place when I was in town again. Still great food.“

“It’s is a hidden gem! Very cozy atmosphere and kid friendly. They came out and gave her a little plushie for Mother’s Day. The staff was very nice and very helpful with the menu and loved having a baby in the restaurant.
We got the mixed soup dumplings, pan fried pork buns, and hot and sour pork soup with glass noodles. The food was fresh and tasted amazing! Will definitely be adding this place into our rotation.“

“Best drunken noodles in the Triangle, hands down. Wide rice noodles, smoky wok char, plenty of basil (American mild) — and the portions are generous.

Only catch: Diet Cokes are pricey. Mild sticker shock, not a deal breaker.

“This place has the best Pad Thai of anywhere I’ve ever been, and I love Thai food and have been to many different Thai restaurants. Their prices are extremely reasonable and service is always fast and accurate.“

“Restaurant has been magically transformed in every way. Serves great food, calming music in the background, nicely decorated and clean. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. Salad is always so crispy and fresh with amazing dressing. I usually order the orange chicken and I really like the batter they use. Perfect place to enjoy a meal, they have done wonders here“

“The atmosphere ar Kazu Hibachi was quiet, good for conversations. Appreciated the oriental interior decor. The hostess & server were kind and efficient.
The taste of our hibachi steak and hibachi shrimp was wonderfully delicious. The only problem was portion size. In this economy, I'm not sure if seafood or beef is more expensive but I'd like to see more shrimp & veggies as the other plate had steak and veggies.
I would still recommend & return for another meal.“

“It’s pretty good! I’ve only had the bahn mis but they are delicious and fresh and full of veggies and meat. It was affordable as well only being 10 bucks for a small bahn mi and two egg rolls. They also have more regular size bahn mis though that are separate from the ones on the combos. However, for lunch I would come here over a fast food place any day of the week.“

“I found this food truck by accident today. I was expecting it to be average like other food trucks, but I got a pleasant surprise! Mysore bonda was pillowy on the inside, and the chutneys complimented it nicely. Chicken manchurian was a good blend of sweet and savory, and the chicken was cooked nicely. But the highlight for me was the biryani! I’ve had bad luck experiences with food truck biryani, but I decided to try it anyway. And i’m glad I did! The chicken was succulent and aromatic, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Better than some restaurants i’ve been to! Only bad thing was that the wait times are tooo long. Aside from food, the place is cozy. I also like the name. Staff were mostly helpful. This food truck is close to the heart of Apex and beaver creek commons. You should definitely visit Namaste Chicha next time you get a food truck craving!“

“All I can say is WOW!!! This is the BEST Chinese takeout I’ve had EVER!!! My wife and I were absolutely blown away!!! We got the Happy Family, Beef/Broccoli and Pepper Steak. The food was Phenomenal!! This is my place from now on!! Worth the $!!!“
