“We have been fans of Lucha since it opened over a decade ago! We lived nearby as recent graduates and still come back at least a few times a year now that we live in Durham. The menu is rock solid and the cocktails have always been fantastic. We recommend the nachos, the green beans and the dumplings—we’re fans of the small plates. Always friendly service. It’s one of our cozy go-to’s.“
“Cute vibes. my boyfriend and I came on the Thursday night which is their trivia night. The hostesses checked on us many times. We both had sandwiches. That were just OK. We also bought two seasonal drinks I personally feel mine was a bit too strong, but but who complains about too strong of a drink?!? I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place for dinner, but it was fun to do the trivia and to have snacks and dessert. I will definitely be back. Dessert was the best part…crème brûlée.“
“Great meal. Sat at the bar and received excellent service. Good value, as well. Restaurant is located in an upscale strip mall, but that's pretty standard. Not my favorite type of setting, but the food and the staff made up for it. We will return!“
“From the early days of just the truck, Napoli has been a blessing to find in Chapel Hill. I think the best word to describe their food is "elegant". Gotta have pizza fresh out of the oven to really have it shine but it's great a day later too. Soft and delicious crust, incredible topping pairings, and amazing quality at the price they charge.“
“We were looking for a new bar to try in Carrboro and saw B-Tribe on Yelp, and we're glad we did. The entrance is very unassuming, almost hidden behind an Italian restaurant on the south end of Car Mill Mall. The place is quite small, with about five tables, and maybe 12 seats at the bar. We sat at the bar as we only wanted drinks and snack. Christian, the bartender, greeted us right away and brought food and drink menus. He explained the specials and took our drink orders. My companion found an interesting Greek white wine, and I asked for a boulevardier, my go-to cocktail for a new place. The wine was to her liking, and the cocktail was about the best example I've had in recent memory. Christian used Woodford Reserve bourbon and Campari rather than Aperol so it had a slightly less bitter taste and was a lovely auburn color. The food menu was very interesting, with lots of items we've never tried. We ordered caesar salad with anchovies, green beans in garlic-soup sauce, panella (a chick-pea and cream cheese dish), and seasoned French fries. It was all yummy and delivered together. The service we got really couldn't have been much better: attentive without hovering. The food and drink quality was outstanding, and we thought the prices were very reasonable for what we got. In short, thanks Christian, and we'll be back.“
“We ate here for Valentine's Day. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, my sister & niece got the lobster ravioli, and the hubs ordered the lasagna. We all LOVED our meals, with the exception of the hubs. The lasagna was not layered, it was more deconstructed. Bread and service were outstanding! The place was clean and quaint! A nice little authentic Italian gem!!“
“Some recipes have been changed not for the best... Dining outside is great compared to the noise inside. For the price, may we recommend a little bit more of table setup like a paper place mat? Also, a wiser way to place / space customers would be highly appreciated especially when a crazy table of students is sitting next to us, while we are in the middle of a calm and lovely time.“
“This is a hidden gem in Chapel Hill. Stylish, modern, absolutely delicious for every taste of Asian cuisine. Absolutely outstanding service. Excellent choice of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Sorry, was so excited tasting delicious dishes that forgot to make pics. That’s how awesome it is!“
