“Everything was OUTSTANDING with this hometown Mom & Pop Restaurant. They are know for their RUFUS Double Cheeseburger. I had extra chili put on mine. The food came out hot and the staff was OUTSTANDING. Looking forward to returning. Highly Recommend !!”

“These people are the nicest!!! I mentioned the really cool older fire truck that we spotted tucked behind the restaurant. My husband is a full time firefighter just outside Raleigh. The owner’s must all be affiliated with firefighting as well. They have BIG cheeseburgers. Good prices! And it’s just a really quaint town that needs to be visited! GO Support them! They’ve been around a while and they make some yummy eats 🥰 🍔”

I went to a meeting and the host provided lunch from the same bakery and I had the chicken salad and it was amazing!!!! “I have been here several times and tried various dishes. This is my favorite restaurant (especially breakfast), whenever I visit Sanford.

Excellent service we received from Mariah. She was all smiles whenever she visited our table and was very helpful and attentive the whole time. She made sure we received everything we asked about and she gave great advice about meal questions and options. I can say that for any of the waitresses during my visits, they made you feel at home and they have a ton of daily and repeat customers.

The meals are what brings people in and makes them return. thanks to the cook staff, I have not had an issue with any meal I received here. Each time I get a hot freshly made plate of whatever I ordered and it was flavorful and well prepared with fresh ingredients. But if there was a problem, I'm sure the waitresses would make it right.

Also, the atmosphere is quite comfortable with music playing from the 70's, 80's and 90's (from what I could tell). And the tables are well maintained after use. Once the customer leaves the cleaning staff removes all plates and utensils, cleans and sanitizes and organizes the table for the next customers. It's a well oiled machine.

I would recommend this old fashion, down home restaurant to anyone looking for a good, almost home cooked, meal in a relaxed and clean environment with awesome employees in each job.”

“There is a reason why you can't get into the parking lot at lunch. Food is always spot on and the pricing is amazing. I usually get a double cheese burger, large tater tots, with a huge tea I can't finish it in one sitting so I have a nice snack later. My wife enjoys the fried bologna.”
