Fantastic meal, can’t wait to come back!
Stopped by for a quick carryout, winded up gabbing with Ben for about 20 minutes. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff who offered tecommendation. Food was done quickly, just so friendly I stuck around for a bit :) I had the Crispy Chicken Chili appetizer and Pork Ramen. Hokkaido is a newly managed restaurant with lots of seating and fun decor. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The menu has a variety of Japanese and Thai favorites, including ramen, pho, and Tom Yum soup. The Pho, crab rangoon, shrimp shumai, and Tonkotsu Ramen are especially good. The Chasu Steamed Buns and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen were also great choices. The portions are good and the prices are decent. The exterior might not look like much, but the inside is pretty, colorful, and inviting, with Anime walls and figurines and nice decor. The kitchen is clean. The broth is beautiful and velvety. The pork buns have tender pork and a sauce that compliments the savory pork and sweet bun. The Chicken Katsu is filling and easy. The Seafood Ramen is very good. The Hibachi Vegetables, Edemame, and Sesame Chicken were fantastic. The plain ramen, shrimp hibachi, and chicken hibachi were also good. It is considered the best Pho and Hibachi, and all-round best Asian food in the area, a definite must-try.
