“For starters, I truly do not like wedding cake. Tracy however is a pure magician in the kitchen because she made two of the most incredible wedding cakes yI’ve ever had! Our actually wedding cake was butter pecan with vanilla frosting and had a kitchen cake that was vanilla cake/vanilla icing. It tasted incredible. I still wish we had some! Not only did it taste amazing, but it looked gorgeous as well! I wanted simple but, Tracy can do it all. She is also just incredible to work with. During the tasting she worked with us on the best options for budget, sketched out the cake, and made sure we had everything we wanted. I’ll definitely be ordering more cakes from her in the future for other life events!”

“Had a chance to stop by The Brass Kettle Cafe this morning, and I'm glad I did! Those old enough to remember, know that this spot used to be 'The Road Runner Cafe', home of amazing biscuits and fabulous burgers. The original Brass Kettle was up the road in Jonesboro/Sanford, but has made a great home now in Broadway! I was intrigued with the idea of catfish and grits for breakfast, adding an egg and a biscuit to my go plate. The menu is extensive and there's plenty of room both inside and under the picnic shelter out front. The cafe is decorated with a variety of memorabilia, giving the restaurant a nostalgic vibe. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful for this first-time customer, and the quality and taste will definitely bring me back. Prices are reasonable for the amount served, and my overall impression was very positive. I will absolutely return when traveling and highly recommend for family and friends.”

“This place captures the hometown spirit of Sanford. It's been around for a while and it's because of the delicious food, friendly service, and great ice cream. We had a great family dinner. I got the turkey special, and my partner got the pot roast, both equally delicious and tender. We enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere. The history here is unique and worth the visit.”

“Like another reviewer said this food is blam additive! The quesabirrias is awesome, also ordering quesabirrias on a torta with the Consomme (broth) is amazing. Tortas are not usually my go to but this is so good dipping it in the broth. Don't say I didn't warn you, it will be hard to stay away from this place after you've tried it.”

“The food selection was good. It was more home style cooking, but some of it lacked seasoning/flavor. The chicken dumplings looked like no effort was made. The broccoli wasn’t impressive, neither was macaroni and cheese. However, the hush puppies were good and the fresh fries.

The shrimp and fried chicken was delicious, I must add. Their desserts tasted well also. Some foods you can tell were dedicated, and some neglected.

My server was ok, we needed refills, to go boxes and straws, so she forgot it all. This place is what it is, for the retirement age.

“very good!! I love pizza but have gotten weirdly picky about it over the last few years, probably due to my medication dulling my senses. So now I only like a couple places. We decided to try La Montesina tonight because I wanted somewhere I could get thin crust. It was really good! My husband and daughter said it was very good too. My 3 year old actually ate a lot of her chicken tenders. I tried a bite for review purposes, they were good too.”
