Everything we ordered was excellent, but the cakes are over-the-top amazing!
Great space with a funky vibe. Service was A++. Fried oysters were delicious. The toughest part was deciding which cake to try. There was no bad decision at our table. Coconut cake is a 10/10
Make a reservation it gets busy.
Very overpriced ! Drove 70 miles to be disappointed!

The staff are fantastic, warm, and welcoming, giving spot-on recommendations. The desserts are outstanding—manna from heaven. The cakes are incredible, especially the lemon blueberry cake, which is the best lemon cake in Raleigh. The chocolate peanut butter mouse pie is a close second. Guests can walk in and order cake slices to go from the cake display counter or order full cakes in advance (they are huge, so several friends are needed to finish one). There is a phenomenal array of exquisite cakes, pies, and puddings. Leftovers are boxed up and labeled to continue the treat at home. This is a hidden gem for comfort food. Be sure to make reservations for parties of 4 or more.
