“Stopped there for lunch today and had the Italian beef sandwich. It was super fresh and tasted amazing. One of the best Italian beef’s I have ever had. 10/10 will be back on my next trip to Raleigh“
“Oakwood Deli provided excellent service. The cashier was cool and helpful. The Oakwood Tuna sandwich was delicious and fresh-tasting, with generous portions. It’s been a while since I last visited, but I’ll definitely be returning to Oakwood Deli.
I wanted to add that I really enjoyed the ratio of tuna to other ingredients. It wasn’t too heavy on the mayo, which contributed to the light and refreshing taste of the sandwich. I had for Dinner but would make a great lunch.“

“Nice small deli if you work at any of the buildings around Highwoods. The sandwhich was reasonably priced. You can definitely get a meal (drink, sandwhich and chips) around $10. To find the place you go past the parking garage, sign in at the front, take the elevators down to Floor one and make a right when you come out. The place is very clean and cozy. A hidden gem.“

“Yummy holiday food and traditional sides.“
“Went in there while waiting for something else not related to court business. Had a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. Croissant was nice and big, toasted perfectly. Sausage tasty but not overpowering. Plenty of scrambled eggs, cooked well. Looked like at least 2 types of cheese, melted well and nice and gooey. Enjoyed a lot. Decent view from the 6th floor. Would definitely go again. Hopefully not because I am in court“

“Update 12/1/25
We went back for the bagel-sausage-egg-cheese combo and decided to try two other sandwiches. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We tried the smoked pastrami and the turkey reuben; both were basic (taste) and skimpy (meat-wise), and cost almost twice as much as the filling breakfast bagel. We won't make that mistake again, but they keep the 5-star rating for the bagel alone! Also, be mindful that the shop is within the Raleigh train station with paid parking.
I didn't get a chance to eat a bagel when I went back to my hometown NYC, however, a friend told me about Union Station Deli & Catering and I'm soooooooo glad he did!!! New York bagel spots may be famous, but Union Station truly shines in the Raleigh area! I recently enjoyed a breakfast bagel with my husband, a fellow New Yorker, and it was simply delightful, a truly authentic bagel taste that I crave. Even with two hearty sausage patties and eggs on the sandwich, I found myself craving more. The spot is clean and the staff is warm. They encourage debit/credit cards, but cash is accepted. Although the location is a bit tucked away by the train station, that won’t stop us—we're excited to return for another delicious experience!“
