“One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Catering Works. From beginning to end, the process was seamless, the staff were positive and enjoyable to work with, and the food was phenomenal. We reached out about a year ahead of our wedding and worked with Kelly the whole way. We were planning our wedding from NYC, so we had to coordinate trips for tastings. When the weather was not in our favor and our flights were cancelled, Catering Works made it easy to reschedule and find new times to do our tastings. They even made sure my dad could pick up our first tasting to go when our second trip was delayed.When it came time for our tasting, we thoroughly enjoyed everything and had very little notes. Their chefs are fantastic! Catering Works handled all the food and drinks for our wedding including an open bar, cocktail hour, dinner, cake, other desserts, and late night food. We added the late night food two weeks ahead of the event and there was no issue with the late addition. It was easy to customize everything to our liking and pricing was transparent.The night of the wedding, everything was seamless. The food was fantastic. Our guests were raving about the food for weeks after our wedding. We had an outdoor cocktail hour and dinner. The staff passed out food during the cocktail hour while my husband and I finished out pictures. When we finally got to sit down at our table, they brought us plates of all the appetizers and saved extras in case we wanted more. Dinner was served right on time and all our guests dietary restrictions were met with ease. We received rave reviews from the vegan options that were made available to those who needed them. Staff even made sure to take special care of our guests who were fasting for religious reasons during cocktail hour and prioritized getting their dinner to them promptly.The bars were open all night and the bartenders also received rave reviews from our guests. Drinks were made quickly and guests were never thirsty. There were also staff dedicated to my husband and I to make sure our needs were met and we never waited in line. We were even able to point out VIP guests (i.e. our parents) who should also receive extra special treatment to avoid lines and access the highest quality liquor (we were able to customize exactly the amount of and type of liquor we wanted to offer).The cake was DELICIOUS! We had a small round cutting cake for photos and a large flat sheet cake that they cut in the back before serving to guests. It was significantly more cost effective to purchase the cake this way instead of ordering a huge round cake for 200 guests. Catering Works worked with us without issue to make sure we got the cake we wanted for the guests we had without breaking the bank.The late night food was a huge hit and a surprise for our guests. The photos we have of guests ravaging the french fry bar are some of our favorites. My husband and I missed the late night food and Catering Works made sure to send us home with a plate of everything we missed. I still dream about the apple pie and the chicken and waffle bites.I would 1000% recommend Catering Works for your event. The staff are amazing, the food is phenomenal, and the service from planning to the end of your event is top tier.“

I am so full lol.Egusi soup is very flavorful, with chunks of stockfish with chicken (done the way I like it - fried well and seasoned just right). Fresh cooked food - hot and spiced well. Worth the wait time! My 1st visit - would be back, highly recommend. ?Tomorrow, i will try the other items I ordered - moi moi and fried rice with plantains tomorrow I am sure they will be just as yummy delicious!!! “I have been dying to find a delicious, locally owned sandwich shop and this place did not disappoint! The guys were so nice and the sandwiches were exactly what we were craving. Kids had turkey & provolone and ham & cheddar while the husband had a Chipotle Steak & Cheese and I had the Italian. To top it off, the shop is located in Lafayette Square so we got some steps in after we ate. Will definitely be back!“

“I cannot speak highly enough of Rocky Top Catering and specifically of Vicki Tong and the service that she delivered on our wedding day! We had our wedding at The Upchurch recently and Rocky Top blew away our expectations. Our menu was constantly changing up until the very end, and Vicki was extremely accommodating, working with us to revise our contract and share any recommendations quickly. What impressed me most was the way that Vicki collaborated with our other vendors (venue, rentals, etc.) and brought any necessary revisions to my attention, this was extremely helpful! My dad has been in the catering industry for 20+ years and has been singing Vicki’s praises since we started the planning process with Rocky Top, the compliments only doubled after the wedding day once he had the food. We had both the mac and cheese bar and the sliders at our cocktail hour and we are still hearing about those two menu items from our guests. Guests have gone as far as to say “best mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my life” and “I still think about the sliders from your wedding and wish I could have another.” The food was a highlight for our guests and a highlight for us too! During our tasting the food was so good that my husband was eating the food off of my plate too and the portions were huge, the food was just that good! For our reception we opted for the potato bar and that was another hit with guests. All of the food was just as good if not better on the day of the wedding as it was at the tasting. We had an open bar and the drinks were delicious! Our bartenders and the entire Rocky Top staff at the wedding were extremely professional and friendly. Working with Rocky Top made me want to have another party just to eat their delicious food and drink their great drinks again! Choosing Rocky Top is a no-brainer! I enthusiastically recommend them if you want the food to be a highlight of your wedding day!“
“We hired HL Catering for both my Bridesmaid Luncheon on Friday and our wedding on Saturday. Both days we were blown away with the service of the team and quality of the food. I loved that we were able to go in for tastings in their kitchen, to really see how the food was being prepared. I feel like more often, foods at weddings doesn't hit the mark because there's either not enough of it, or it's cold, or not very tasty. I truly didn't have that experience for my wedding weekend. EVERYTHING was perfect and I will definitely be referring them and using them again in the future.“
