Waraji Japanese Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with delicious food, making it a popular spot for gatherings with friends and family. The menu features a variety of options, including the popular deluxe sashimi and fire dragon roll for sushi lovers, and the Nabe-Yaki Udon for those who prefer cooked dishes. Customers appreciate the prompt and friendly service, especially from staff like Kayla and Richard, which enhances the dining experience. The interior includes tables, a bar, and traditional Japanese-style seating areas, despite being located in a modest shopping center. The talented chef, including the retired chef Masa, prepares each dish with care and attention to detail. Recent reviews highlight the great food and service, with favorites such as Age Nasu, Ika Geso kara-age, stuffed jalapeños, and matcha crème brûlée. The sake menu is extensive, offering options like sake flights and the Cloud sake flight, which are perfect for beginners or those undecided. The ambiance can feel more upscale than the outside environment suggests, making it suitable for a fine dining experience. Overall, Waraji Japanese Restaurant’s consistent quality and friendly atmosphere make it a must-visit for sushi and Japanese cuisine enthusiasts.
