“My daughter, her bestie and I make the trip from VA to Wake Forest whenever we get a chance to get some of the fruit pastries. We usually get one of each then some to take back with us! The owner is super nice, the bakery is warm and welcoming but above all the pastries are heavenly. We have never been disappointed. I’m ready for another trip!“

“This is one of my favorite hangouts in the area. The pastries and sandwiches are absolutely amazing and authentic. The coffee drinks are solid. Perhaps not as fancy as your standard coffee shop and they are perfect and tasty when parrot with treat.“

Sweet Fare Bakery • $
1022 Ryan Rd, Cary - 7.27 miles

“Went to Sweet Fare on a daddy daughter date. She loved the decor. Whimsical, she called it. It's geared toward little ones. I felt it was a bit pricey, but some of the combinations were interesting, like the key lime pie cookie. Overall, I could crunch sugar in the butterscotch cookie we tried. It was pretty good. However, as an adult, I'm beyond filling in flavor with pure sugar. Though one look at Sweet Fare, and I know I'm not the target audience. It was a cute little stop. It's too pricey for me to bring all four children to at one time. But it was a nice stop on our date. Overall 3 stars for food, 4 for interior and decor. So the kids will be all about it. As an adult, it was ok.“

“I truly appreciate the food, atmosphere, and coffee offered here. They present a distinctive selection of cakes, pastries, and other items that are highly recommended. It's an ideal place to bring your family, friends, or other acquaintances to enjoy a wonderful culinary experience with food and beverages that are pleasantly not overly sweet, and the prices are quite fair.“
