“We really liked it. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and my husband had the chicken salad on sourdough. Good service, good food, cool historical building. You need to climb stairs to enter so keep it in mind if you have mobility issues. This is in the college area so I could see students and professors coming through often. We’re from out of town.“

“So far, this is the only place I've found serving bacon wrapped scallops and they are DELICIOUS!! The scallops are moist, the bacon is crisp - they are perfect in every way and you get 8 per serving. The drinks are great - a solid pour. And the sandwiches are incredible! I got the one with the blackened chicken (can't recall the name) and it was very good. The service was wonderful - no complaints. I am going back either today or this weekend for more bacon wrapped scallops!! Love this place!!“

“We had a party of 10 in town for a family wedding. We met the evening before the wedding for dinner and catching up.

The menu made our choices difficult because all sounded so good. Everything our group ordered was awesome!

The atmosphere was great, the beer was cold, and our waitress Lisa was the best!

“While the service, friendliness and ambience absolutely cannot be beat, this is a great reminder that one does not go to an Irish pub for the food. My wife had shephards pie that was pretty lame and my steak came with fries that were definitely subpar and a sauce that had been sitting out so long the top had already congealed. Great place for a drink with friends before dinner or after, just avoid the food.“

“My husband and I stopped in here on a whim for lunch, and holy moly, I'm so glad that we did! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was truly outstanding. My husband could not stop raving about the corned beef and said it was one of the best meals he's ever had in his life. This place makes me wish I lived in Raleigh. I highly recommend it!“
