Visited early afternoon on a week day. Love how they maintained the historic nature of this bar. Staff was very friendly. Outside seating was expansive considering how tight downtown is.
One of my new favorite spots!!! Went there for a night cap after my wedding with some wedding guests and had an AMAZING time. Bartenders were very accommodating and FUN!! We were able to bring in food as well. Overall great vibe.

The first watering hole I walked into was when I moved to Raleigh in January of 2009. It's still my favorite melting pot of Raleigh. The bar is beautiful, and the staff and owners are amazing in their own right. Come grab a pint and join the fun/conversation at the bar! Outdoor space is really nice as well.
