They are charging 1$ to slice your bagel order. it's petty and un called for within such an inflated economical time. Spend your money elsewhere for bagels.
Coastal has been our go to bagel spot every Sunday after church. Unfortunately we have now had two separate bad experiences. We always call and put our bagel order in before church and pickup after. Apparently this is an issue for the employees and owner. The first negative experience we decided to let slide and give it a try again. Today was the last straw. My husband called at 10:30 to put an order in for pickup for 11:30 and the employee on the other end responded with an attitude about the time. My husband said never mind we will go somewhere else. They ended up calling back and saying they could do it. My husband asked why he was given an attitude and the employee said he didn’t mean for it to come off that way. My husband arrived and was waiting in line at 11:25 when the owner said if this Dustin guy doesn’t get here soon I’m putting his bagels back. My husband said I’m standing right here and the owner just turned around and went to the back. I am blown away by the lack of customer service. The way you treat your customers says a lot and we are very disappointed. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere.
