“This evening we were excited to bring friends who had never been to Seabird, and it was my wife’s birthday! The food did not disappoint. Our friends loved it. It was good to see a restaurant with a sense of humor when they brought out a “no calorie” birthday cake! (A lit candle stuck to a dessert plate)”

“This is a phenomenal restaurant but I think what is missed in reviews so many times is five stars for the manager, Jeremy. Every time I go I watch this guy flow through the room greeting everyone and putting out small fires with such ease and grace. I would say Origins is Jeremy. No, I'm not related or a friend just an appreciative happy customer.”

“Bennys is consistently awesome! Pizza and salad with a warm atmosphere and always amazing service. I have been here a bunch of times with family, friends, dates etc. the pepperoni pizza is the best. The chopped salad is my fave in town (although they need to order kale/baby kale and not mixed greens for this salad). I’ve spoken to peeps there about it. The pizza is at its peak right now. Great for small groups or large. Always love it! #kaleyeah”

“Did the pizza making class with Naim, who started Cugino’s Wilmington Location. We made our own pies and there were no left overs. Definitely grab some cannolis on the way out. Could not recommend enough.”

“Me and My boyfriend visited for the frost time Wednesday for a drink and dessert. Everyone recommended them for the best dessert downtown and they were right! We had a fantastic server named Paige! We couldn’t decide which dessert so we had her choose. She chose the chocolate sushi and it was so delicious! Something that I’ve never had before and was fun to try out. The drinks were also delicious. I highly recommend trying them out especially for dessert. Just wanted to give a shout-out to the restaurant and our server!”

“I finally went to On Thyme yesterday after wanting to try it for months. It was well worth the wait. So good! My friend and I split the shrimp po boy with fried okra and the hot honey chicken sandwich with loaded fries. Nice sized shrimp with their awesome On Thyme sauce which kind of reminds me of a Cajun remoulade. Hot honey chicken sandwich had a huge cutlet of chicken. Everything had a nice breading that wasn't too heavy. Generous portions and delicious! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Outstanding service!!! The welcoming atmosphere from the staff is what really made it for me. Food was fantastic!”

“Prost is one of the best things to happen to downtown Wilmington in a while! I cannot recommend them enough for lunch or dinner—both are delicious. Their historic building's outdoor space in particular is truly special, and I try to sit there whenever the weather allows! As for food recommendations: - You have to get the pretzel. You just have to! It's mind-blowingly good. - I don't eat meat, but a companion of mine loves a good beef stroganoff, and he said it was the best one he had *ever* had. I heard similar reviews of the reuben! - The apple strudel is DELICIOUS. It's a surprisingly large portion—easily could feed two diners! Definitely give Prost a try. They won't disappoint!”

“The dinner was not up to previous experiences I have had at the restaurant. For the starter I had the soup du jour, and while tasty, was not completely inspiring. My entree was the fish special, a speckled trout, which was tasty enough, but not overly remarkable. My dining companion had the curried mussels, 4-5 of which had not opened. All in all a nice dinner, with attentive service.”

“What a great experience. My wife and I just had an amazing meal here. The restaurant is very clean and easy to order. I got the Rasta combo which was 5 wings, 1/2 a wrap, seasoned potatoes, and corn. My wife got the OG wrap with potatoes. Everything was seasoned to perfection and had just great flavor. From the corn to the potatoes, wraps, to the wings... every single bite was enjoyable . We both could immediately tell that the owner, Ryan, took pride in his efforts and food. He came out to check on us and we were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. The wings and the wraps both were spectacular, but the wings just stood out. They are not deep fried in seed oils and have a nice smoke flavor since he cooks over flames. And plenty of sauces to choose from as well as original or jerk flavor. So good!! We will be back and back again after that! Great spot and great people running it! Support these guys !”

“My wife and I recently visited the Osteria Cicchetti for an appetizer and a drink to just relax and have some "us time". We sat in the bar area at a high top table for two and our server was Danielle. She was friendly, polite, helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable but not rushing us. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, a glass of white wine and a Stella Artois. Everything was just right... Danielle bought us over some Italian bread and Flatbread, which we both like. I added some olive oil with sea salt and black pepper to my dish so that we had some dipping "sauce". All in all we both really enjoyed our visit to the O.C. for an appetizer and relaxation time.”

“We eat here at least once a week. This Waffle House has always been good, but it is now better. Not sure why, but it’s our local WH, so that’s good news for us. Our waitress Kristen was VERY nice, polite, diligent, and generally fantastic at her job. They are normally pretty good, but she’s our favorite.”

“This place is the CLEANEST waffle house, ever! Wonderful service, friendly and our business have us on the road working 40+ shows a year. We eat at waffle house quite a bit. Only hiccup was my bf waffle had chocolate chips on it but he doesn't like them and instead I ate it. It was delicious and soft, just the way I love them. My girls enjoyed their entire meal! Wonderful experience and will return here when we come back for the next craft show!”

“Edna was amazing!!! I was unable to stay at my company suite due to me, having to bring my dog at the last minute. I called Homewood suites by Hilton in Wilmington. Edna picked up, was super sweet told me no worries. She had the perfect room for me and my family and my dog. She was very welcoming as she made sure we had everything we needed. let us know activities and food and shops l that were nearby, I will always stay here. Every time I come to Wilmington North Carolina she's definitely someone to remember.”

“We love the cauliflower appetizer. I really enjoy the oyster app with kimchi collards. Unique pizzas, burgers, and seafood. Shrimp and grits aren't my favorite. However, everything else on the menu is great. Service is always quick and great.”

I was eating with 4 people from Boston (2 first timers including me) . When I ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon jam. They all said ewe and then they ordered more. I had the chicken pot pie. It's not your mom's pot pie. Great gravy plenty of veggies and a perfect puff pastry on top. I could go on about what everyone else had... No need just go, you will not regret it.”

I'd only had their Thai Chicken Pizza before (which is out of this world delicious) but I wanted to try something new. He gave me some good ideas of what he likes and I'm going to branch out tonight with something new. Not sure which pie yet but I have faith that it will be as delicious as the Thai chicken one. Purpose of this review was really to just thank Robert for his patient customer service. It seems that more and more places are putting their customer service training aside and just hiring rude, unprofessional people who feel like they're doing you a favor. “First things first Salita makes a delicious pizza, they have a lot of really interesting and unique pizza options and fun flavor combinations to try.Their pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and that flavor can't be beat. They are located in the middle of the cargo district and you order from their take out window. They do not have an designated seating but there are lots of options of where to sit in the area. The pizza came out pretty quickly considering it is made fresh and took around 15 minutes. The only reason they are not receiving 5 stars from me is the price, it is a little steep. All of the pizzas from my knowledge are about 10" and the prices vary from $18-20 (except for the margarita pizza which is $13) per pizza. Whether or not the price is worth it is up to you, but I certainly think they are worth giving a shot because they are some excellently crafted pizzas.”

“Deceivingly modest exterior of a family run Peruvian fair with delicious food. Mini empanadas for a starter then three entrees, each with distinct flavors and great sauces. Please try the mango habanero sauce with oregano. Not on the beach, not a tourist trap, not another gyro and spaghetti diner although there are burgers on the menu if you must. We’ll be sure to go again next time we are in town and try other menu items. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, clean restrooms and plenty of parking.”

There was a gentleman that showed the true power and love of God. We are grateful for his obedience to God. I'm tearful thinking about how God used him to be a blessing, his entire demeanor was the spirit of God. To be honest I didn't eat my food because the spirit was so high. God is real and I'm so blessed to have been at The Harp to experience God's love for His people through the man of God yesterday. Thank you, Jesus. It's so amazing because we just never know who we may encounter but we will know them by their spirit. I give all Glory to God for His doing and I say thank you to The Harp. “I finally went to On Thyme yesterday after wanting to try it for months. It was well worth the wait. So good! My friend and I split the shrimp po boy with fried okra and the hot honey chicken sandwich with loaded fries. Nice sized shrimp with their awesome On Thyme sauce which kind of reminds me of a Cajun remoulade. Hot honey chicken sandwich had a huge cutlet of chicken. Everything had a nice breading that wasn't too heavy. Generous portions and delicious! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Outstanding service!!! The welcoming atmosphere from the staff is what really made it for me. Food was fantastic!”

At first the girl at the door was bugging me about trying to get my phone number and I was like I don't leave my phone number for anybody so she got the manager the manager come out and was like no problem so she took care of the problem real quick got us a seat. Pasquale got the bone in ribeye and I got the New York strip both were great I had a baked potato with mine he had green beans and corn I also had the house salad which is really good Ariella the manager was really great or servers was bae and Bailey and Sydney they were both wonderful and really took care of us good. There were a lot of TVs in their TVs everywhere We were watching people on bicycles trying to do stunts and wrecking it was funny.”

However, it does also seem that they accommodate walk ins fairly easily. We got the cinnamon roll to share at the table and it was delicious. We were excited for a new brewery/bar downtown but had no clue they even served food, and I’m not kidding when I say they have the BEST pizza, wings, burger, fries, and caesar salad (served in convenient handheld wedges!) in Wilmington. My wife and I went two nights in a row to try more of the menu, with mostly different staff each night but excellent service both times. Huge indoor and outdoor space including an outdoor bar which will open in a few weeks. This is already our favorite spot in town, can’t wait to see where it goes from here!”

“when i first heard about the ibis i knew it was going to be a place i would really enjoy. not only do i enjoy music overall but have visited gravity records several times so seeing a collaboration between them was exciting to see. my first time at the ibis was definitely the most welcoming and played a big part in me continuing to come and grab a drink & have a chat with friends. i love the atmosphere, the music, & the cocktails always hit the spot. after the first time visiting, i started, realizing that the customer service and interactions overall were not that great. i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were possibly having an overwhelming and busy day. i will go ahead and mention that i am very respectful when it comes to me going out to public spaces. i have always been very good with my manners and would say i'm more patient than most people in our world these days. so for me to feel the need to say anything about this should say a lot in itself. i've been to the ibis about five times at this point and ever since the first time i have not been greeted with a welcoming vibe whatsoever. i'm not expecting much from the staff but basic phrases like "hey how are y'all doing?" or "how's it going?" are never used. not even a welcoming smile or anything. not only that but it seems like they stare at you & wait for you to say something first. i will also mention that this isn't only during cocktail hours. i've been there during coffee hours and the staff during that time seem to be the same. i really love this spot. it's an awesome place to have a casual drink or just to listen to some good music but i'm writing this because not only me but friends that have been there with their own friends have also had negative experiences with the staff. i have nothing against the staff, maybe they've just never worked a customer service job & don't realize that your body language and energy does affect the people around you. i just hate that i don't feel like can fully enjoy my time here when there's so much negative tension between the customers and staff. i hope there can be a meeting where this could be addressed, but overall beautiful spot and looking forward to future events.”

The sea salt caramel fudge was also amazing! The chocolate dipped strawberries and apples were PERFECT!! The people that have helped me have been very welcoming and friendly. So much easier to find parking here than the downtown location. Thank you for being in midtown!! My new favorite go-to place for gifts.”

I had the Wagyu fillet and it was perfect. Portions were very large for us so we shared the wedge salad & scalloped potatoes. I never share, but glad we did after discussing portion sizes with our server Grant. He was very friendly, attentive & responsive. The manager came by to insure we were satisfied. Glad to know we have another fine dining restaurant in Wilmington..in my opinion the best dinner we have had locally.”
