Every time I go I watch this guy flow through the room greeting everyone and putting out small fires with such ease and grace. I would say Origins is Jeremy. “This is a gem! Quaint, top notch restaurant. Servers were attentive and the food was unbelievable! Best food we ate while visiting Wilmington, NC. Forget the riverside restaurants, you can just do the Riverwalk and then head here. This was one of the best meals we ever had. Well done!”

“Me and My boyfriend visited for the frost time Wednesday for a drink and dessert. Everyone recommended them for the best dessert downtown and they were right! We had a fantastic server named Paige! We couldn’t decide which dessert so we had her choose. She chose the chocolate sushi and it was so delicious! Something that I’ve never had before and was fun to try out. The drinks were also delicious. I highly recommend trying them out especially for dessert. Just wanted to give a shout-out to the restaurant and our server!”

“Amazing coffee, perfect, wonderful staff. Justin is great and absolutely lovely and the other staff were super sweet and kind. I loved my coffee, love the atmosphere and it was well worth the trip! I bought two coffees and it only cost me about $12 not including tip! Very strong and perfectly made. I came for the dinosaurs and I will come back for the coffee and staff.”

“I finally went to On Thyme yesterday after wanting to try it for months. It was well worth the wait. So good! My friend and I split the shrimp po boy with fried okra and the hot honey chicken sandwich with loaded fries. Nice sized shrimp with their awesome On Thyme sauce which kind of reminds me of a Cajun remoulade. Hot honey chicken sandwich had a huge cutlet of chicken. Everything had a nice breading that wasn't too heavy. Generous portions and delicious! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Outstanding service!!! The welcoming atmosphere from the staff is what really made it for me. Food was fantastic!”

“Prost is one of the best things to happen to downtown Wilmington in a while! I cannot recommend them enough for lunch or dinner—both are delicious. Their historic building's outdoor space in particular is truly special, and I try to sit there whenever the weather allows! As for food recommendations: - You have to get the pretzel. You just have to! It's mind-blowingly good. - I don't eat meat, but a companion of mine loves a good beef stroganoff, and he said it was the best one he had *ever* had. I heard similar reviews of the reuben! - The apple strudel is DELICIOUS. It's a surprisingly large portion—easily could feed two diners! Definitely give Prost a try. They won't disappoint!”

Knowledgable staff, courses landing at the perfect moment - all things that require a well oiled front and back of house working in harmony.I loved the decor of the space, which is obviously carefully curated to create a fun open kitchen concept that makes for a unique and exciting dining experience, transporting you out of Wilmington for the evening, to a beach somewhere on the coast of Spain or Italy.Who doesn’t love tapas style starters?The mortadella beignets with hot honey and cheese was our favorite dish of the night! Try these savory beignets and you will not be disappointed! The flavors complement perfectly for a surprising and fresh take on a beignet.We tried the octopus and crab arancini small plates, which were delicious as well. Both beautiful reminders that the ocean is not far away. (Three tapas plates pictured)For main courses, we tried the snap pea pasta and mussel/clam spaghetti. Both of these pasta dishes blew us away! So tasty and highly recommend. Packed with flavor, the freshness of ingredients was apparent and the pasta was perfectly prepared.Was impressed with the drink list overall- great selection of beer, wine, cocktails and N/A options available.Do yourself a favor and make a ressy at Olivero!”

“we had the pleasure of eating at Junction 421 this evening for a pre-Valentines dinner date I had the steak with mashed potatoes, asparagus, spears, and crab meat and topped with a delicious Bernese sauce . Michael had shrimp and grits and we had a nice, romantic dinner. Evan was our server and he treated us like we were VIPs. Highly recommend this restaurant is so close to our home.”

“Every time we come to town, we make a stop (or two) at Mimi and Papa’s. It’s been 6 months since I was last here, and Jordan remembered me as soon as I walked in today. This is a very sweet family with a spirit of excellence. The ice cream and popcorn are outstanding and reasonably priced. It’s icing on the cake to support a family-owned business! Can’t say enough good about this hidden treasure!!!”
