It was good to see a restaurant with a sense of humor when they brought out a “no calorie” birthday cake! (A lit candle stuck to a dessert plate)“

“Me and My boyfriend visited for the frost time Wednesday for a drink and dessert. Everyone recommended them for the best dessert downtown and they were right! We had a fantastic server named Paige! We couldn’t decide which dessert so we had her choose. She chose the chocolate sushi and it was so delicious! Something that I’ve never had before and was fun to try out. The drinks were also delicious. I highly recommend trying them out especially for dessert. Just wanted to give a shout-out to the restaurant and our server!“

“Prost is one of the best things to happen to downtown Wilmington in a while! I cannot recommend them enough for lunch or dinner—both are delicious. Their historic building's outdoor space in particular is truly special, and I try to sit there whenever the weather allows! As for food recommendations: - You have to get the pretzel. You just have to! It's mind-blowingly good. - I don't eat meat, but a companion of mine loves a good beef stroganoff, and he said it was the best one he had *ever* had. I heard similar reviews of the reuben! - The apple strudel is DELICIOUS. It's a surprisingly large portion—easily could feed two diners! Definitely give Prost a try. They won't disappoint!“

“we had the pleasure of eating at Junction 421 this evening for a pre-Valentines dinner date I had the steak with mashed potatoes, asparagus, spears, and crab meat and topped with a delicious Bernese sauce . Michael had shrimp and grits and we had a nice, romantic dinner. Evan was our server and he treated us like we were VIPs. Highly recommend this restaurant is so close to our home.“

“For a special occasion last week, we travelled from Durham to Wilmington try this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed and it was so worth the trip! The dishes were all plant-based absolutely delicious. Even if you are normally a carnivore, you will not miss having meat. The restaurant space itself is beautiful and very tasteful and relaxing. All the staff were super friendly and hospitable. Felt like I was saying good-bye to friends when we left. Looking forward to my next trip to Wilmington!“

“Finally made it in today after a couple of years of trying to make it by. I got the Olivia’s Old South chicken salad BLT on toasted white bread. Absolutely delicious! I got my order to go and by the time I was done filling my drink I was met around the corner with my order. Great customer service. I don’t know if the cake on the counter is an everyday thing but it was the best, most moist cake I have ever had. I spent right under $20 for what I would call a deluxe sandwich, a side, a very large piece of cake and a drink. Absolutely worth the money. Thank you ladies! I will definitely see y’all again!!“

Someone in our group ordered an affogato which wasn’t very good (wouldn’t recommend getting it w vegan gelato, and affogato doesn’t traditionally use additional milk). However the staff was very friendly and accommodating and made a lovely replacement without issue. Gelato was great and atmosphere was charming!“

“Wife and I had dinner here before a show at the Thalian Theater. We were quite impressed. Being from Pensylvania, we liked the Philly sports memorabilia. The food was great along with the service delivered by our server Mary Hannah.Awesome night in Wilmington with a great dinner and show. One fills the fast food niche, another is for quick gyros, and Black Sea Grill is for everything else.My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here and tried as much food as we could eat to really judge it. “Tandoori Bites is a phenomenal Indian restaurant!!! I am so glad that my sister discovered it and suggested it! The ambiance was incredible and the restaurant was impeccably clean. The detail to our service was incredible. They took their time with our food and our lamb vindaloo extra spicy and curry goat both fell off the bone and had the MOST amazing flavors!!! The garlic naan was fantastic!! Rohit, our server, was incredible, he answered all of our questions and was super sweet from beginning to end!! “I had my first experience at Ruth's Kitchen at the behest of a long time friend, and they did NOTHING but confirm the compliments of my friend ??! To the extent and extreme that should I find myself remotely close to Ruth's Kitchen in my City-wide places of employ, I would MOST LIKELY have them on my itinerary of Restaurants to patronize when I am TOO tired to go home and cook or even warm up what I have cooked for myself! The Staff I had was exceptionally affable and engaging, and that made for a successful consumption and digestion of a VERY TASTY and FILLING meal! Without ANY DOUBT in my MIND or BELLY, I WILL be dining in or carrying out a meal once again and SOON ??!“

“After living here for years, my wife and I discovered this jewel of a restaurant. A great menu of fresh prepared daily options. To begin we enjoyed their chips & guac with queso, followed by a chopped house salad (wife) and a Caesar for me, then the short rib dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious, and plentiful. Sean Michael served us, and was able to give thoughtful insight on the dishes and the background of the restaurant, most helpful to a first (but not last) visit. The atmosphere was a bit ‘industrial’ in the downstairs dinning (they also have a rooftop outdoor dinning area), and we got there during happy hour, so it was a little loud (but this calmed down as we ate). Again, the food is fantastic! I would caution though (as Sean did before I ordered) the Ceasar salad is very intense with anchovy. Had I not been warned I would have sent it back, but I had been warned, and now so have you. Looking forward to our next visit, this time hopefully leaving room for dessert!“

“Cava is an excellent choice if you would like a "grab and go" option for healthy food. The Lamb Meatballs and Falafel I can say were excellent, and their large selection of all ingredients are fantastic. Service was great, staff was friendly (we didn't go at lunch time rush so can't comment on how quick they are) and were helpful. They are definitely pricey for what you get, but if you want refreshing, quality Mediterranean food and you're in the Wilmington Area, give it a visit.“
