“As newcomers to the Wilmington area, we are always looking for great food, drink, service and atmosphere. Three10 did not disappoint. A quaint bungalow turned restaurant in the Brooklyn Arts District, with a small but inviting dining room area and a dining bar that faces the very organized and chill kitchen. The dining bar was our choice. Jill was our primary service person working alongside Claire. They were both excellent! Knowledgeable, professional and personable; not easy find, regardless of caliber of restaurant. I started with the cocktail "The One Where They Brown the Butter", which was bourbon based, had hints of sweet from the browned butter and brown sugar, although not overpowering. It was delicious and easy to drink. We started our meal with the Hushpuppies, Tuna Tartare and raw Oysters, all of which were excellent. The pepper jelly base under the hushpuppies was subtle but added so much flavor. The base of diced beets/sweet potatoes with the Tuna Tartare was seasonally fresh. The 2 NC blue crabcakes had a subtle cayenne heat, balanced with the creaminess of the celery root gribiche and made with the same base as the hushpuppies. Needless to say, we did not have room for dessert.....Overall, our first visit was excellent, not only for the great food but for the knowledgeable and friendly service. We will be back!“

“My mom's birthday today. Took her to eat there has always been clutch but today's food McDonald's crispy chicken breast with their McDonald's fries. Trash! And a tiny strip of flounder with coleslaw. Grand total 45.00 bucks with waters. Just no. I hope they get better soon!“

“Would recommend Periwink to all locals and travelers in Wilmington. Great, enthusiastic, and welcoming staff that gave me the best hazelnut cold brew I've ever had. They asked me what I wanted, I wasn't sure what I fancied at the time and they asked me what type of flavors I liked and said Ferrero Rocher ;) then they made me the tastiest coffee drink ever :) Will be back...“

“Just had a wonderful Pizza Margherita at Pizzeria Don Luca. Service was quick, offered suggestions, and answered our questions. Pizza crust was thin and crispy, sauce was amazing, and the mozzarella was fresh. Outdoor seating was perfect for the beautiful day. Will be back next time we are in the area and will definitely recommend.“

“I walked in for a muffin, and was blown away but this place! You can tell that there was a vision for what they wanted their shop to be, and it it wonderful! From the play area, to the walls of goods from local small businesses, Three Friends is exactly what our town and the world needs ❤️“
“A wonderful local brewery located near the Brooklyn Arts district in historic downtown Wilmington. They have a wide variety of excellent fresh beers and they also serve wine. They have local artists who perform from time to time and they also have food trucks that show up to provide cuisine to accompany your beer and wine. The employees here are very friendly and helpful.“
“Great new spot with owners that are constantly improving the place. Their beer is great and evolving each week or so. Nice outdoor area and about to get a lot bigger/nicer according to the owner. Pet/kid friendly atmosphere and you can bring in outside food from the many eateries within walking distance. Soon they will have some food trucks and possibly live music. Check it out !!!“
“Found a gem of a brewery while in Wilmington for business located on Old Eastwood Rd. It is walking distance from the Hampton Inn. I met Guy the owner and his mother Mary Ann. Mary Ann was so nice to talk to. Great conversation of how Guy started the brewery and the different types of beers he has made. Had a couple of pints and it was so good I got a few growlers to go. Try By the Beach Brewing you won't be disappointed.“
“I love Blue Cup ! I stop on my way to work and get in and out in less than 3 minutes. They’re very friendly. I usually get a chocolate chip muffin with an iced coffee add oatmilk. Today my muffin stuck to the wrapper when I got to work and they replaced it on my lunch with a coffee cake muffin. Long story short I’ll be getting my usual but with a coffee cake muffin now. Thanks guys :)“

“Love the poke bowls! We’ve been here for lunch multiple times and the food is always delicious. It quickly became our go-to for poke and for a lunch that didn’t weigh you down. The outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice and they carry this line of green teas that we love. The strawberry mochi is also great!“

“First time and we'll be back. Nice and friendly!! Love the Gelati and variety of flavors. Love the Koozie refill idea too!! Certainly a nice place to chill and cool off from the burning sun?. My daughter loved it!! We all did and we'll be back to try more flavors! ?“

“The vegan options are clearly marked, but if you ask (like I did, just to be on the safe side), they'll point out or list the many options. I went with a double scoop of passion fruit with mint chocolate at the bottom, and believe it or not, it was a great combo! The decor is charming (though some of the seats *may* be leather?), but who wants to sit inside when you can sit outside, next to the water, and enjoy a beautiful view and a refreshing breeze?“

“I would definitely recommend Castle Street kitchen. I went there today for the first time, and got to take out. my order consists of Thai chicken curry soup and a separate order of chili. quite pleased with everything, and in addition, very happy to know there is a place relatively close to my home that I can enjoy. the kitchen itself is very lovely decorated. has indoor and outdoor seating. this is a place to check out.“
“It really is a cool spot to have beer, listen to music and it is away from Road Noise and large enough to spread out inside or outside. The art store connected inside back right has Wine if you dont do beer or Ciders etc. The Art work is beautiful and exotic from Africa. It appears to be Kid and pet friendly. The Next few Days when the temp goes upp, you should go down and check it out, and relax.“

“The taste of their coffee is worth driving the distance's for. Flavor of the coffee is what makes their Coffee tasty. The aroma of the freshness of the coffee beans is like no other; they are above the rest. The service and attitudes of the staff make the experience such a memorable and pleasurable one. Stopping by Java Dog to have coffee and to get my coffee beans whenever we’re in town.“

“What a great little gem. I have driven by this place hundreds of times. I had no idea if the selection of wine and spirits they carried. The place is very inviting inside, plenty of parking and service super friendly. Met my friend here for a quick drink one afternoon and ended up staying several hours. Highly recommended.“
“This microbrewery offered mostly hefes and stouts when I was here. There were a few pils and their tradeship IPA. They offer lots of open seating both inside and out. There are a few shuffleboard tables. If the lot at The Venue is full, there is another lot immediately after.“

“I usually go to the Bean for coffee but just tried a smoothie yesterday. It was literally the best smoothie I have ever had. The lady at the window was super patient with my questions!!! I got the mango/strawberry. It was ridiculous!!!! Will definitely get that again.“
“Very knowledgeable staff, good parking, they're attached to a home brew store, and are dog friendly inside and out. Outdoor has a good amount of seating; while inside is more limited, but still a good amount. Pretty much the same beer on tap as the arcade, with the addition of one or two beers. To go options are limited. Overall, I do like this location more than the arcade.“

“A great place for your classic breakfast items! We went on a Sunday morning & the place was very busy so I would recommend making a reservation if possible. However, it does also seem that they accommodate walk ins fairly easily. We got the cinnamon roll to share at the table and it was delicious. All the entrees were also great, but the sides (biscuit & grist) were SO good!! It's a very cute breakfast/brunch spot and I would definitely go back.“

“Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was as expected for a brewery. The service was slow going and drinks weren't refreshed without asking but it could've just been a dud server. It happens. Talk about a tough Food choice to make! Everything on the menu sounded delicious but I ended up going with a burger. It was cooked exactly as requested and the sweet potato fries were bomb. Very affordable for a family of 4. We ate well for just under $60. Would definitely go here again.Parking: Due to location, street parking is limited to meter or city parking garages.“

“Great spot to view the bridge and boats. Staff and service was great. The food is overpriced for the experience but everything was cooked properly. The Clam Chowder was seasoned well had plenty of clam. The potato croquets were perfect on both flavor and texture. The mushroom side was meh. The mahi was good, but a little dry. Swordfish special was much better.“

“I love that the first thing the staff does when you go to the counter is provide you a beverage. Tried both burger and the PT DOG. Both made to order, fresh and fantastic. Had the cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, slaw and chili. Just as good as the mains are the fresh cut fries. Outstanding!“

“I have been to Luna a half dozen times, tried several pastries/muffins and hot drinks. Without fail, my hot drink is sublime, no matter which option I choose and the bakery items are fresh and delicious. The blueberry muffin is worth noting: plenty of big juicy blueberries nestled in a fluffy muffin. The atmosphere.is comfortable and relaxing. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly.“
“Stopped in for a couple of cold beverages, adult in nature, pretty good not great but opened and available. Kind of like a good place to grab one or two drinks before jumping to another location you'd be bored if you'd spend more than an hour in this place but the service was good and bar staff was attentive.“

“I moved here from Austin, Texas last October and found this open mic soon after that. It's great!!! Eric is a great host who dials everyone in till they sound just right. The list fills up quickly and it's not unusual to have 18-20 players in a nite. The audience varies from just a few to jammed packed, but they will listen if you get their attention. I have heard some amazing music in that room. I go to play and to listen almost every week. Try it... You'll like it.“
“Stayed here for a second time and loved it. The room was so beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the room is sparkling clean. The grounds are really pretty with lots of options for sitting outside I’m absolutely in love with the bathroom tile and intend to go home and redo my kitchen backsplash. Duncan at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. We opted to self park which was easy with lots of options on the street and in the parking lot across the street. Note that street parking is free after 6:30 at night and on Sundays. Some things that I would like to see improve are the air-conditioning in the rooms. Our room did not go below 70°, which is a little too hot for us for sleeping. We also didn’t like the Dram yard for dining. We like different kinds of foods, but the menu is just too unusual for us. We thought it was a safe bet for breakfast, but we were disappointed. The Crunchy lady, what could have been an artistic take on Eggs Benedict was inedible. It had a solid layer of pepper coating underneath the egg yet the bread and hollandaise were flavorless. It could have been described as blackened eggs (see photo). Although the staff is very friendly there, and the coffee is really good, we opted to go downtown for breakfast for the rest of our trip. Lastly, I don’t understand why they feel the need to have valet parking. The lot behind the hotel has more than enough parking for all of the guests and I would have preferred the convenience of self parking. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again“
