“My husband and I went to Poe’s for a late dinner on April 21 after checking into the condo. Our server, Kelly, was excellent! She was attentive and had a great sense of humor. Our fish tacos were very good. And, the french fries were perfectly cooked to a nice crunch with just the right amount of salt on them. Would definitely return!“

“The cutest second story coffee shop on the south end of Wrightsville beach! This is the perfect place to grab a coffee or quick morning bite to eat. It's also great for an afternoon drink since they have beers on tap or cans to choose from! There's limited indoor seating but there are outdoor picnic tables when weather permits. Ive ordered an iced vanilla latte, açaí bowel, and margarita (on tap) and thought all were great! The servers were also all very friendly. Can't wait to come back!“

“Exceptional food and service! Fried pickles with ranch made in house was a must.The seafood pasta is by far one of the best seafood dishes I have had from a local restaurant in the area. The flavors were a blend from the south with just enough kick, but not enough to keep my 4 year old daughter from helping herself!If you are looking for a good island cocktail, the painkiller brings the same flavors as the famous Woody's bar in the BVI and highly recommend it.Also, the grille is just a 1 minute drive from the play ground, 30 second walk from an ice cream shop and a 1 minute walk to the beach for a great time with your kids!“

“Sat at the bar. The fried oysters were awesome. Chili sauce. The crab cake , and burger were both wonderful. My hubby enjoyed the electronic fog beer and I had a lemon cocktail and the espresso cocktail. The fresh potato chips are fantastic!!“

“The beach is a casual place...as it should be. Lager heads is a great little bar along the main strip in Wrightsville beach. The bartender was great and prices we good too. Plenty of space outside to have a beer and watch the day go by...a definite on the coast.“

“We had our wedding welcome party at The Palm Room and it was AWESOME! The owners, Kat and Kurt, were great to work with and the bar service was incredible (2 bartenders and a barback for ~150 people!). It was an unforgettable night and truly a way to welcome people to the island!“

“Ambivalent staff. They were helpful but seemed uniterested. The coffee is 5 stars. The worst part is parking is a MF. It's all pay parking in Wrightsville, and the workshop doesn't have spaces. Otherwise it is a great spot, worth visiting, and you can take beans home with you.“

“This was a great place to eat while staying at the beach for a week. Our server was very attentive and helpful. This was my first experience at a Mellow Mushroom. I got The Elevated Cobb, it was really good and the chicken is as good as it says it is. My boyfriend got The Italian Hoagie and he said it was delicious! And I had to agree. My boyfriend got the Yellow Submarine mixed drink and it was made perfectly. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. We also had a sugar cookie and peanut butter cookie. The sugar cookie was so good.
