“My husband and I went to Poe’s for a late dinner on April 21 after checking into the condo. Our server, Kelly, was excellent! She was attentive and had a great sense of humor. Our fish tacos were very good. And, the french fries were perfectly cooked to a nice crunch with just the right amount of salt on them. Would definitely return!“

“Exceptional food and service! Fried pickles with ranch made in house was a must.The seafood pasta is by far one of the best seafood dishes I have had from a local restaurant in the area. The flavors were a blend from the south with just enough kick, but not enough to keep my 4 year old daughter from helping herself!If you are looking for a good island cocktail, the painkiller brings the same flavors as the famous Woody's bar in the BVI and highly recommend it.Also, the grille is just a 1 minute drive from the play ground, 30 second walk from an ice cream shop and a 1 minute walk to the beach for a great time with your kids!“

“Excellent seafood and drinks across the board. We would go back for the tuna poke and tacos. The oysters were shucked well, clean, and tasty. Smashed avocado aka guacamole and salsa were Telmex worthy. You pay a little more for but the experience is worth it. I agree below that the tenders are fine but not at the price “

“Great spot. I wish there was music in the actual bar area, it was a bigger area but it was darker and quiet, wasn't the side we wanted to sit on for lunch. It would be awesome if they took the front area vibe and ambiance and pulled it through to the back bar area. Food was good, good price. Skinny margarita was a little tart.“

“It's good! I've Been eating all friend's leftovers because I spent too much money on make up remover the night after my friends wedding in Wilmington. The wedding was lit. Bride had to be carried out of the bar after the reception lol. But yeah everything thing here holds up.“

“Ignore the decor! It's old, shabby, dingy. Ignore the atmosphere. It's not packed like a frat house bar. Come for the food and the service. Best in the area. We had pork cheek and shrimp martini for starters - both amazing, pork cheeks are to die for! Then main of stuffed quail and scallops, both fresh and succulent. To finish off, blood orange ice cream and salted caramel ice cream - locally made, simply awesome finish. Staff go out of their way to attend to you. All in, a great experience! “This was a great place to eat while staying at the beach for a week. Our server was very attentive and helpful. This was my first experience at a Mellow Mushroom. I got The Elevated Cobb, it was really good and the chicken is as good as it says it is. My boyfriend got The Italian Hoagie and he said it was delicious! And I had to agree. My boyfriend got the Yellow Submarine mixed drink and it was made perfectly. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. We also had a sugar cookie and peanut butter cookie. The sugar cookie was so good. “Pizza and staff were kinda meh. But it's still pizza so that's better than no pizza. And it's at the beach... so that's kinda cool, I guess? The pizza really wasn't that great though; kinda bland and greasy and floppy.It's not horrible, just forgettable.But it's beach pizza... And even a forgettable slice of pizza can be amazing after a long day at the beach.“

“The food was beautiful as well as delicious. I ate it with my eyes first and then my nose and taste buds took over and were very happy. The sear on my scallops was perfect. The oyster stew was rich and creamy, the clams linguini was unctuous and balanced. I wanted to drink the sauce left in the dish. Our server was bright, attentive and friendly.“

“We love the cauliflower appetizer. I really enjoy the oyster app with kimchi collards. Unique pizzas, burgers, and seafood. Shrimp and grits aren't my favorite. However, everything else on the menu is great. Service is always quick and great.“

“For a special occasion last week, we travelled from Durham to Wilmington try this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed and it was so worth the trip! The dishes were all plant-based absolutely delicious. Even if you are normally a carnivore, you will not miss having meat. The restaurant space itself is beautiful and very tasteful and relaxing. All the staff were super friendly and hospitable. Felt like I was saying good-bye to friends when we left. Looking forward to my next trip to Wilmington!“

“First time visit. Was impressed to say the least. The friends that I was with are regulars there. I ordered the seafood platter. First time in my life I have ever left seafood on the plate. And I ate very little of the slaw, however it was very good. Didn't eat any of the French fries. There was so much seafood on the plate, I literally could not eat at all. Most places have four oysters on the plate, I believe mine had seven. All fried very crispy and the food was hot when it came to the table. The breading on the seafood was excellent and they even gave me the dark side of the flounder. By the way in case you don't know, the dark side is the best side. There were six of us and we split an order of clam strips, calamari, and crab dip among us. All three of those were delicious too.“

“we had the pleasure of eating at Junction 421 this evening for a pre-Valentines dinner date I had the steak with mashed potatoes, asparagus, spears, and crab meat and topped with a delicious Bernese sauce . Michael had shrimp and grits and we had a nice, romantic dinner. Evan was our server and he treated us like we were VIPs. Highly recommend this restaurant is so close to our home.“

“Deceivingly modest exterior of a family run Peruvian fair with delicious food. Mini empanadas for a starter then three entrees, each with distinct flavors and great sauces. Please try the mango habanero sauce with oregano. Not on the beach, not a tourist trap, not another gyro and spaghetti diner although there are burgers on the menu if you must. We’ll be sure to go again next time we are in town and try other menu items. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, clean restrooms and plenty of parking.“

“I have eaten Sushi all over the US as well as Asia and (not to mention) Japan. This place is very authentic and the sushi is just amazing. I only order sushi but my husband always gets a cooked dinner and he says they are amazing as well! The staff is attentive and the sushi chef (I believe owner) is fantastic. I sometimes get supermarket sushi as Genki is not real close to me. I used to appreciate it was “just supermarket sushi” but after Genki (10-12 times) it’s real hard to get a quick supermarket fix. Actually right now I’m salivating!“

The food is also really solid with the “McWhat?” being a must in my opinion.I would say the staff felt a bit disinterested in being there and certainly didn’t feel very attentive. “Great spot to view the bridge and boats. Staff and service was great. The food is overpriced for the experience but everything was cooked properly. The Clam Chowder was seasoned well had plenty of clam. The potato croquets were perfect on both flavor and texture. The mushroom side was meh. The mahi was good, but a little dry. Swordfish special was much better.“

The detail to our service was incredible. They took their time with our food and our lamb vindaloo extra spicy and curry goat both fell off the bone and had the MOST amazing flavors!!! The garlic naan was fantastic!! Rohit, our server, was incredible, he answered all of our questions and was super sweet from beginning to end!! Our mango lassi drink was delicious and so glad we were able to find a local Indian restaurant we love!!! Tandoori Bites, we look forward to being frequent customers! “I had my first experience at Ruth's Kitchen at the behest of a long time friend, and they did NOTHING but confirm the compliments of my friend ??! To the extent and extreme that should I find myself remotely close to Ruth's Kitchen in my City-wide places of employ, I would MOST LIKELY have them on my itinerary of Restaurants to patronize when I am TOO tired to go home and cook or even warm up what I have cooked for myself! The Staff I had was exceptionally affable and engaging, and that made for a successful consumption and digestion of a VERY TASTY and FILLING meal! Without ANY DOUBT in my MIND or BELLY, I WILL be dining in or carrying out a meal once again and SOON ??!“

“After living here for years, my wife and I discovered this jewel of a restaurant. A great menu of fresh prepared daily options. To begin we enjoyed their chips & guac with queso, followed by a chopped house salad (wife) and a Caesar for me, then the short rib dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious, and plentiful. Sean Michael served us, and was able to give thoughtful insight on the dishes and the background of the restaurant, most helpful to a first (but not last) visit. The atmosphere was a bit ‘industrial’ in the downstairs dinning (they also have a rooftop outdoor dinning area), and we got there during happy hour, so it was a little loud (but this calmed down as we ate). Again, the food is fantastic! I would caution though (as Sean did before I ordered) the Ceasar salad is very intense with anchovy. Had I not been warned I would have sent it back, but I had been warned, and now so have you. Looking forward to our next visit, this time hopefully leaving room for dessert!“

We sat at the bar, Jason took care of us , if you’re looking for the ultimate experience and great customer service sit at the bar and let him wine and dine you you’ll simply love it just like we did .
