“This place is super cool. I got the loaded mashed potato stuffed pretzel and I was life changing. Only complaint I have is the pretzels were a little on the roasty toasty side, but definitely not burnt. The environment was cool and the workers all looked like they were enjoying themselves and were super nice.“

The location was convenient to the hotel and the selection really surprised me. “The Buttery Bakery deserves six out of five stars. I was surprised with the most beautiful and delicious birthday cake ordered by my precious sister who lives out of state. The strawberry and cream cake was stunning inside and out and featured strawberry macaroons and fresh blush colored roses. The personal touches and attention to detail were so creative and brought a little touch of Paris to Wilmington. Bethany, the owner and chef, was an absolute delight and kind beyond words. We wanted a lemon cake because he loves all things lemon & at that point I wasn’t too picky since we were days away. “PLEASE BRING BACK THE HEALTHY HARVEST MUFFIN! Ive been having that muffin since 1998/1999. It would sell out at most locations by the end of the day. This was the only healthy option for a muffin as many people who can't have dessert muffins or sugar muffins no longer have any option now. Thank you for considering.“

Only struggle is usually limited help in shop and if around holidays then order ahead to ensure you get in time. Great product reasonably priced.“

“I come here often because it's close, but they're always pretty fast about their service, no matter if you go inside or the drive thru. It has a stronger coffee taste than other coffee shops and I like that. Food portions are a little on the small size and aren't always the highest quality. Normally get a something simple and build off it so I can make it the way I like it. Would recommend and am going back.“

“I had the cookie monster roll. It had a giant slab of cookie dough on top and was so incredibly good. you most definitely need a sweet tooth for this roll!! My sister had the shake rattle & roll and the peanut butter frosting on that was to die for. The place was very cute and clean! We were served immediately as we walked in and our rolls made right then, the worker was very nice. A good place for a sweet treat, we paid $15 for the two rolls and they were most definitely worth it!!“

I have enjoyed their cakes for many years and for many different occasions. From birthday parties to weddings they can do it all! It's also a go to for an after school treat. “Great place, great service, but they really need to do something about the bagels. I've had two orders where the bagels came out too hard to chew. The staff was very kind about replacing the bagel, but it is embarrassing to have to go back to get a new one, and it isn't a good use of employee time.Please consider if the bagels are going stale or if it is something to do with their preparation.“

“I was recommended the Point Break Sandwich that I had on a Crossant. It was very good. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly. I loved the number of choices that were available on the menu. I was very comfortable sitting outside eating at their tables. The only reason I am giving this 4 Stars instead of 5 is because my bill was a bit over 14.00 and I had a Sandwich the size of a Crossant that was not overly stuffed or anything and a Snapple. So I feel that was a tad bit high. But overall, I was pleased.“
