First-time dining last night. The chowder and tuna tartare were great apps. I had Ahi tuna rare with rice and veggies, 2 others tried the stuffed chix thigh and another had the steak w/ crab sauce - all very tasty and portion size was good. The sparkling wine offering of the evening was very nice, good selection of whites and reds. Overall prices were fair for portion size and the creative cuisine. I'd recommend the Epicurean for those looking for something out of the ordinary for the area. The only thing we felt was a bit disconcerting was how close the tables were to one another; we were like inches from the other patrons, a very tight fit indeed.
