“We ate outdoors in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, a millennial was shouting over his phone and broadcasting his call at the very next table over (why is it that people are too lazy to hold the phone next to their ears and feel compelled to share their conversations and music with the rest of us who don't care to listen to them?). Spoiled an otherwise excellent meal.“

“This is the best gelati you will ever have in your life. The ice cream is silky smooth and creamy deliciousness and forget water ice I want to be buried in this sorbetto. My favorite summer spot (but actually all year round). The owner is the only person I’ve ever seen working, the care and love he puts into each dessert is noticeable and next level. If you’re in south Philly, go here!!!!!!!“

“LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“An absolute South Philly cornerstone.Line might be long, but will move fast and worth it on a summer evening. Some of my best summer days in Philly end with John's Water Ice.Cash or Venmo only, rotating new flavors, so good no matter what you get.Cheap and prices haven't gone up with inflation yet!“

“This is so Nymphia Wind-core!!The atmosphere is so cozy, and the food is so good. The campfire jam had a strong banana flavor that surprised with how well it went with the graham crackers and marshmallows. It was smooth and creamy, and not overly sweet. I definitely recommend this place!“

“From the gelato to the atmosphere, everything was amazing! Whether I opted for classic favorites like pistachio or ventured into more adventurous territory with flavors like tiramisu, they all tasted fantastic! Every flavor I tried felt as if it was crafted with precision and passion with the finest ingredients. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the attention to detail in every aspect of the gelataria. The decor and music makes you feel like you traveled to Italy and are visiting an authentic Italian gelataria.“

“I usually get the soft serve ice cream and it’s always 10/10. The matcha flavors comes through a lot compared to other places. I also have tried Sakura, ube, and jasmine tea and all flavors were very good. Today I decided on the Maiko parfait and it was ok. The cake part was very dry, maybe it was store bought or old but it made the parfait eh. Some of the other toppings were good and some were interesting. I like the mochi balls and chestnut but the jelly on the bottom was tasteless (maybe to balance out the ice cream but a slight flavor would be nice). There was also Frosted Flakes and red bean on the bottom, I feel like the Frosted Flakes could’ve been on top since it got soggy once I got to the bottom ;-;“

“Old school Italian-American bakery. Tasty sweets, espresso, cakes and pies. Cannoli, of course! Had the red velvet cake and it was very good. Service was warm and welcoming. Open late! No gluten free options tonight (I asked). I didnt ask if they had dairy free or sugar free options, but... I really wouldn't expect them here. Very nice pricing! :) Tables available inside and outside.Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options (I asked).“

“Look at the perfect swirl of the soft serve! The soft serve was rich and creamy with a smooth texture. We were shocked to get 8oz of soft serve for only $6 after we paid extra $0.5 for the waffle cone! Also if you’re wondering, it was totally worth it to get the waffle cone.If I ever go back I’ll try the coffee cookie dough ice cream that we didn’t have enough stomach space to try.* Vanilla Soft Serve with Dark Chocolate DipMy friend ordered this classic combo, simple but delicious. The Valrhona dark chocolate shell was thin and crispy, giving a satisfying crunch as we bit into it.*Turkish Coffee & Donut Twist Soft ServeI was not the only person who was brave enough to order coffee soft serve at late night, as I kept seeing people holding the coffee/donut twist. The Turkish coffee tasted so unique that it didn’t taste like any other regular coffee soft serve. It captured a strong and robust flavor. While the donut side was sweeter and helped mellow out the intensity from the coffee.“

“My buddy told me about this place. I was in the area so figured I’d stop in.It’s a very tiny storefront, however it’s not out of the ordinary for places like this, especially in the city on a Main Street to be much bigger if at all. It has all that you need. I believe it had a wooden bench in there to sit and eat at. As well as 2 or 3 Bar-top kind of tables. Seating capacity is probably 8-10 at most.I can’t speak for anyone but one could only assume that most people are To-go’ing instead of dining in. However, it’s definitely an option. I sure did. I like the small quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed looking at the pictures on the wall, checking out the ice cream/milkshake flavors.Very unique place.Has your average milkshake flavored options, but also has some that you wouldn’t find in many other places. #supportsmallbusinesses“

“What a Gem!!! Everything was fantastic. But really sets the cafe apart from ALL others is the Barista. A true ambassador of the Nona and Pops but also of Termini. I wish I had asked her name. She is the epitome of customer service and quite evident she loves her job and her employer. Give her a big raise, elevate her within the company to customer service trainer for all of your new employees.“

“Have loved Weckerlys for years. Since the change of ownership service has become less friendly which is disappointing. Ice cream is still great but sandwiches are not as consistent as before. “Very fast and SO good. I ordered a very simple mix so that I could actually taste the ice cream base. My boyfriend and I LOVED IT. “Thanks to their Princeton location, I'm pretty familiar with the Yapple franchise, but now that one has opened up a lot closer to me, this has quickly become my favorite go-to froyo spot. But what sets this place apart is its unique and refreshing selection of flavors. It's a welcome departure from the overly sweet options at other frozen yogurt spots. Plus, the store is clean, well-lit, and spacious, creating a comfortable environment whether you want to enjoy your treat indoors or bask in the charming ambiance of Haddonfield outdoors.Speaking of Haddonfield, it's a picturesque town that blends the charm of a smaller-sized Princeton with a subtle beach town chill vibe. Parking can be tricky on the main street, but the good news is that plenty of side streets are easier to access. Parking is free after 6pm and on Saturdays and Sundays on those side streets.Sunday evening is my sweet spot when foot traffic winds down, and the dimly lit walkways create a cozy atmosphere. It's an ideal date spot, especially if you've just dined at one of the many restaurants within walking distance around the corner.Regarding flavors... the jasmine green tea stands out with just the right balance of subtle sweetness and that delicate jasmine undertone. However, be mindful if you're sensitive to caffeine, as it's made with real green tea powder. I adore mixing the mint with vanilla for a perfect harmony of sweetness and freshness. The sweetness level across most of their flavors is spot on, and the fresh toppings bar is packed with plenty of options to customize your creation. For the value-conscious, two average-sized cups of froyo usually cost about $12-13. Be sure to ask for a frequent shopper card to earn rewards on your purchases.“

“Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place already, as it is our go to ice cream spot. First, the people here are extremely nice. The building is a converted corner house, with a quasi wrap around porch that turns into a little seating area with a tv and some coin operated kiddie rides. They ALWAYS have something brewing here, flavorwise. There is always some provincial concoction, eg the Trust the Process, a sixers themed red white and blue sundae named after Joel Embiid. Hell, they have a sundae for EVERY player on the Phillies! You won't run out of options here. They even have free ice cream if you bring your pooches! The only knock on ICL is that they CAN get a little pricey, and can definitely get a little packed. I've seen HUGE lines at this place, and have spent a nice little chunk of change on some relatively tame ice cream offerings. BUT, that little nitpick aside, I love ICL and will definitely continue to frequent it throughout the summer.“

“Such a fun twist on soft serve topping boba milk tea with it. Lots of options and fully customizable and very fun. Small location so not much room to sit inside and eat if the weather isn’t nice, but easy to take on the go. Highly recommend.“
“I just moved here from NC last weekend, and everywhere that I have been, people have been rude! I came here to get ice cream the other day it was warm outside. The Hispanic lady that I encountered was no nice, customer service was just amazing!!!! I just wanted to hug her lol because it definitely gave me hope that I won’t encounter rude people everywhere I go in Philly. The ice cream was delicious as well. Thank you!!“

“Delicious ice cream! Lots of flavors, including seasonal flavors and a few sherbets. You can get scoops (the stiffer type of ice cream) or soft ice cream, on a cone or in a cup, and there are also lots of toppings to choose from. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip!“

“A small custard stand, but the custard is so nice and soft. Very tasty! Also, tried the strawberry/pineapple dole whip which was really good too (fyi it is not made the same way as the dole whip Disney makes). Will be dreaming of going there again someday (hopefully when it gets warmer out)! But I will say that I am really happy it can stay open through the winter too. :) I wish there were some tables to sit at, but since their space is limited it is more like a grab and go type place.“

“Ordered 10 quarts to stock up before the season ended just to be completely disappointed. The ice cream is amazing and the workers are wonderful but to my surprise when I checked, this is what 9 of the containers looked like! I paid $68 for ice cream and they weren't even completely filled.“
“Really love this place. I went there on a sweltering summer day to pick up an order my girlfriend had placed. There was a mixup finding the order (not their fault, I was working with incomplete information) but the staff was friendly and understanding the whole time. When we got it all resolved I was able to pick up what I went there for and got an ice cream sandwich for the road. Really delicious vegan Ice cream and cool folks! Float Dreamery is a great addition to the neighborhood and I'm looking forward to visiting again!“

“Since last year, Primo has been the love of mine and my sister's lives. From the Cookie Monster, a delicious hard serve flavor, to the Arctic Swirls, Primo Water Ice is always there. There are a plethora of topping choices, let alone types of cones! And while at some parts of the year it may be difficult for them to find work, the employee or employees that is/are there work vigorously, all while serving with a smile on their faces. For example, one time I entered with a large group of 7 or 8 people. One by one, the worker asked us what we wanted and got it to us in a timely matter. Along with this, while Primo's may appear small, there is actually an entire dining room in the back for people to sit and enjoy their delicious water ice or ice cream cones. And let's not forget the very low prices, affordable for most teenagers and adults alike. So with all of these delightful qualities, why wouldn't this seem like paradise? Next time you are craving a sweet treat, I would definitely recommend popping in.“

“Came here with some friends after dinner for a sweet treat, and it was truly a treat! The booths were all full when we arrived but they quickly opened up after about 5 minutes since there is a 45 minute maximum policy for dine-in on weekends. The workers were quick to clean the tables and patient explaining their menu given it was my first time there. I loved their roasted green tea gelato, and ai can't wait to try their matcha next time. Their matcha and other ingredients seem to be fresh and of high quality. Overall very cute vibes, would definitely recommend for a small group of friends or even a cute date!“

“I recently visited Bagelati for the first time. I ordered a bagel tray online for an event. The tray was ready at pickup time and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the taste and freshness. The cream cheeses were also delicious. I got regular, garlic herb, and vegetable varieties. I do wish there was an everything bagel gluten free option, as I have a gluten sensitivity, but what they do, they do it right!“

“Jeni's is some of the best ice cream I've had in my life. The moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by a beautiful modern store front, the smell of waffle cones, and an array of delicious ice cream flavors. I never tried their ice cream before visiting this location and was amazed by all the gluten free options. It's rare to find an ice cream spot with flavors that have gluten free mix-ins and there were too many to choose from. I got the gooey butter cake and wild berry lavender flavors. Both were incredibly creamy, refreshing, and rich. The gooey butter cake is a classic and the wild berry is so well done. On top of that, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I'm counting down to going back and trying every flavor (and taking some home of course).“
